The Ladies have come along way in the game. To be fair years ago this game wasn’t watchable, now these girls are household names and putting out a great product of the game.

I knew after the half time break Qld wouldn't score. If you listen to the half time interview, Qld basically said the coach told them to get through their sets and "play football" at the other end.
In other words they were told to simplify and take hitups. Till the end of the game they did this with 1 tackle dedicated to a spread. Every time a player made a break there was no support. Instead they opted for a tackle to set up.
Just as in the men's game, once your second phase and offloads stop so do the points.
NSW were intelligent and moved the defense side to side mixed in with hard hitups. The score board shows the result.
If Qld decide to pass it around in game 2 Upton will have a lot more room to work in. She almost scored a few times but was starved of possession by the players inside.

If you watched it from a distance on your tv you really couldn’t differentiate between a men’s or women’s game. The skill level is awesome
