    • @gabrielleannacormierart
      @gabrielleannacormierart  Год назад

Hi Alison ❤️ Yes, I LOVE working with gesso! It's relatively cheap and it works so well. Also, when it's diluted, it can work really well as a wash to lighten up areas and then you can still add watercolor on top of it. The pen I was using to do my white stippling is refillable and worked quite well on the black paper. I have gone through so many gel pens and I'm happy to now have an option I can easily refill ☺️ Thanks for making the time to watch and connect! I really appreciate it 🤗

Coincidence…..? ……or is it the Universe answering my silent thoughts about using black paper with iridescent paints that I am considering buying for the gorgeous colours !!
I had NOT searched for this specific video…..nor had I begun my search for the information…..it just appeared when I came onto RUclips a few minutes ago.
That has really stunned me !!!
Your experiment with black paper and colour is exactly what I had also been wondering about today.
Thank you, Gabrielle !! Perfect 🤩🤩💕💕
Oh…. By the way….if you are looking for the best ever white acrylic paint pen that is really fabulous, I definitely recommend the Artistro White paint pens.
They are very reasonably priced and seriously brill…….even better than Posca !!
I still love my Poscas……but that white pen by Artistro is unbeatable !
They also do other colours and there is also a silver chrome one that is out of this world. It gives the most amazing mirrored chrome effect….gorgeous.

My dear Gabrielle, this is a stunning and fascinating work of art and I do love it so much🥰😍! I loved also watching your progress and prosess of this painting, I learned also a lot while doing so👍🌹. I was thrilled as soon as you put in the black dots on the white color. I also felt it a bit too much white but with these black dots the whole picture changed into something soft/mysterious/fairytale like ...well... some kind of galaxy and I do love the shining beautiful background 😉😊🤩. I admire you for starting and formost ending this new way of painting on black paper, I don't know if would have had the strength to do so💖because of uncertainty. Bravo to that and that you shared it with all of us too💐! Thank you so very much, you are such a great artist and one of the sweetest persons I know. Hugs and much love❤💖💞P.S.: My challenge in my next creative project will be to finish it WITHOUT the idea of a must to produce the best artwork I have ever made....gosh 🙈🙄😅

I LOVE the challenge you are giving yourself to finish a painting while releasing the idea that it needs to be the best in order to be finished. YES!!!! LOVE it!! I would not be surprised if in the end you actually like the painting much more than you thought you would. ☺️ Sending you lots of love and great big hugs ❤️🤗 I appreciate your kindness and support, always 🥰

@Gabrielle Anna Cormier Art ... I'll try my very best, I'm actually
sometimes too quick to give up instead of finishing it, and even if I don't like it! It is a part of me because it came out of me, right? It may end as bookmarks or cards but I'll finish it. In the last weeks, I was throwing paintings into my 'round file' a bit too often for my liking. And still, I learned so much, especially from these paintings. I also have in my inner our phone call and you saying one needs a lot of patience and now this video!😄 Well I learned something about it now🙈🙃😅 . Thanks, my sweet friend.💖💖💖💖💕❤️⚘️🤗🥰😘😘😘

Really liked this one, Gabrielle. It may not feel your best for you, but to my eyes, it is really awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. The white Inkpen stippling pop and catch the eyes to each area. I put white paint down let it dry sometimes then add colour and then irredescent paints on top but only used in painting flowers on card stock for creating birthday cards not a watercolour black card stock. This is another level. You are amazing

👏 👏 I am so proud of you, you did a fantastic job! I'll admit I have never tried anything but metallics on black paper. You did an excellent job experimenting with different mediums. The iridescent green was something I never would have thought about mixing with the blue, and it turned out so pretty! I've also never thought about using salt on the black paper, you have such a creative mind! Your white stippling made a huge difference! The only way I can get my white gel pens to work over paint is by wiping them off every once in awhile, but they still don't go on as smoothly or as white as I'd like. I hope you will try the black paper again, and that you will feel more at ease. Do me a favor and cut a small piece to play. Just drop some gold or copper on the page and watch it sizzle! 😍 Have a wonderful week my friend, great job! 💗🤗

i loved this one! The first thing I thought of when you put the magic green and blue on the black paper, was a Christmas tree at night. And that white ink with the fountain pen? You have no idea how excited I am for that. I have gone through SO many Signo pens, and while they are great, they kind of remind me of correction fluid. haha. I cannot wait to try the fountain pen.
