@@TrixRN I am in bad shape but offering it up. Something is radically wrong with my sacroiliac. I really need to get it checked out, but I cannot right now. I need to see the heart doctor that does cauterization of the arteries on Fri and he will set up a time to do that. I will also have to have the veins in my legs treated especially behind my right knee. My brother use to be in insurance and he knows of two people that died from the procedure as it shot a blood clot into the heart or something. The pain I am in I really would not care if it is my time to go. I am getting a notarization for my son to handle my affairs just in case he has deal with the cremation that is already set up, My brother has a POA, but he is on vacation for 10days and they may do the procedure next week. I also have to get him my bank account as no one is one it. I was on my mothers account but not on her checks etc. When she passed I had no problem getting the money out. I will also ask Fr. Bill for the sacrament of the sick. If all that turns out okay, the veins will be next. None of those things are a problem for me I just want to get all of this out of the way so that I can address the sacroiliac which causes intense pain and limits my painful movement. I should actually be grateful for the suffering because they say one day in Purgatory is worse then a year of intense suffering on earth. Didn't mean to lay this on you, but I know you pray for out group. I will let you know after I go Friday when I will be going in for the procedure. I know it is done routinely, but I want to be prepared in case of a mishap. 🥰🙏🙏🙏

I am always moved by the sound of all the voices at mass praying the Lord’s Prayer together. I imagine all the millions of people around the world who are praying the Our Father at the very same time. Last November I visited the Holy Land and saw the Our Father in 140 different languages and now my heart is moved all the more every time.

Congratulations! I spent 57 years as a Protestant. I came into the Church Easter 2014. St. Faustina’s Diary in a year has been read. You could do that. It was really good, but you might want to learn more about Divine Mercy before you go through the Diary. I plan to go through Bible in a year beginning Jan 1 2024. I went through it the 1st time in 2022. God willing, I plan to do BIAY & CIY every other year unless something new comes up.
The Our Father contains the two Great Commandments. I believe it is a restatement of our covenant with the Father until we can stand in His presence in the heavenly Banquet.
Please pray for me Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I am struggling with my faith. I thought that going through CIY would bring me closer and deeper in my faith, but I find myself the opposite. It has raised a lot of questions for me in which the answers do not match up with the Bible/God's word. And now, with the way the Pope is leading the church, only adds a new layer of uncertainty of whether or not Catholicism strengthens my relationship with God or draws me further away.
