Angles is so striking! I agree with you something just doesn’t click with Dazzle, but the hair is beautiful. I still am challenged to love the huge LOL eyes on these but I do miss articulation and detail heavy store shelf dolls. Nice review boys!
Thanks for another very informative review. I successfully resisted buying any LOL Surprise dolls until I saw Angles! She’s a wonderful homage to both artist Mondrian and iconic fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. I love the way this doll’s look fully embraces her theme too. My only complaint is that the hair on my Angles is very choppy in the back, and her knees are so tight, I’m afraid of breakage if I attempt to bend them. As an adult collector, I would be willing to pay a bit more for a better articulated body & higher quality execution of both hair & facial paint. Overall though, I’m very pleased to have found this doll pretty easily at retail & she really stands out in a good way, within my fashion doll chorus line.
There is beautifully sophisticated inspiration to her design! Yes, the choppy hair is an issue out of box for sure. But thankfully she's still lovely. Thanks for watching!
Am I the only one who loves Dazzle? She might be one of my favorite lol omg dolls
