Thanks for sharing. That's how derbies should be. Hard hitting and always on the hunt. Maybe alittle less rain but Respect for all the guys hitting hard.
Awesome run only bad thing I saw was grabbing the inside of the steering wheel. Good way to get your wrist snapped in half. I've seen it happen to many times.
@@brandynquast6991 meanwhile I'm just sitting here wondering how the hell you did the compound miters on that cage brace in the middle right hand side of the screen. Been scratching my head for an hr now lol.
Only clear picture until the camera gets mud on it. Haha. It's a GoPro hero session. We have been running these for 4 years or so. Very happy with them. Just make sure you check the mounts for cracks. We lost one this year from all the fatigue in the mount.
I haven't been impressed with the video quality on any of the 360 cameras yet. Yeah he needs to do something with his visor. Maybe tearoffs for shows like this?
You should put duct tape all across the steering wheel to keep your hand from going inside and breaking your wrist, that track is way too wet...there is literally standing water on the whole thing...good run though...
@@brandynquast6991dang!!! That's crazy...but, it looks like they would've tried to grade the track or get some of the water out...where I live...they take a Bobcat and grade the pits if it gets too wet...

Sat through over 2" of rain and a tornado warning to watch this one. It was sloppy to say the least.
Heck of a heat for the conditions. Good job

Hot damn that's one hell of a roll cage. What do you guys use for cutting your cage material? Industrial band saw I'm guessing?
Most of the stuff is cut with a chop saw. The rest is cut with a torch.

We actually sat in the pits through a tornado warning. Once the tornado passed, the derby was on!
