    Thanks for the video Jerry, I have been looking for a compact dash camera and this one is a hit! Installed mine today in our F-350 and am very happy with the size, features, and ease-of-use. The app for my phone is very handy and provides an easy way to access the videos and settings. I used the provided cable and tool to hide the wire and plugged the USB end into our AC power adaptor on the dash AC outlet which powers the camera on/off when the truck is running. Best wishes and safe travels!

    'GOLDEN YEARS TRAVELING'
    Hey Jerry, this is a very informative video and will be my go-to video for a good dash-cam. We are both in our supposed Golden Years and have not traveled in approximately 3 years due to health issues. At this time we are both in optimal conditions and now ready to go. Have been searching for a good dash-cam and poof, and you have provided the answer with your current video. Say Hello to Joan and wish you both with safe and happy travels. God speed...Steve & Diana Seaton

    I have the VIOFO A129 Pro Duo . I had a shop in Wichita Ks. install it for me about a year ago because I didn’t have the tools to do it myself. It is hardwired in no wires exposed fortunately I haven’t needed it.

    Thank you for this video tutorial. The weather is nice in the North GA mountains. Head this way! I added to my Amazon business account cart using your link (I add to the cart during the week as I discover I need stuff then check out only once during the week) I am currently restoring a 1977 GMC Eleganza to use as a mobile coaching lab as well as allowing my wife and me to see the USA! This camera will work well in the GMC. Thank you!

    Hi Jerry, hope you and your wife are doing well. Haven't seen you much lately on RUclips. Your video years ago about Ocean Grove RV Resort in St. Augustine was the first RV video I ever watched. Still dream of getting there one day and exploring St. Augustine. I agree with the need for a dashcam. I was a part time pizza delivery driver for 4 years here in Tulsa, OK and I always had one up and running. Tulsa is dangerous on a good day and I had dozens of close calls yearly. Be safe this summer, it looks like it is going to be a scorcher.

      Just one of those “just in case things” that are a good add for RV travels. We had great stays at Ocean Grove. St. Augustine is a fun place. Getting warm here in the southeast. Heading to the mountains soon for cooler temps and looking forward to sharing new travel videos.

      @@iLoveRVlife Jerry, thanks, any recommendations for southeast heat higher elavations cooler weather areas. We're in NC ...where do you find relief in past travels with water? tia

      @djaj423 That’s a tough one for cooler Deep South. Sometimes we just pay the price for a little beach life. Maggie Valley is our favorite July spot.

    I recently watched your video on the VIOFO dash cam mini and was ready to purchase one, then I just saw this video. Do you like one model more than the other? Feature comparison? Also noticed the VS1 does not have a video screen, what are your thoughts on that? Thank you.

      It’s a good unit for the features mentioned in the video. Video quality is very good. If you’re interesting in a dash camera that is small and doesn’t take much window real estate, this is a good unit. I also reviewed the 119 Mini 2 amzn.to/45ocLeb Similar features, but has a screen. Unit features and video quality is the same, just a larger unit with the screen.

    where did you put all the wires

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  28 дней назад

      From the camera I trucked them along the headliner and down the side of the window post. The rest are tie wrapped under the dash behind the fuse panel.

    My problem with dash-cams has been that they record in 3 minute segments. I would prefer a continuous recording. Maybe it is a requirement. 🤷‍♀️
    Does this one record that way?

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  29 дней назад

      It’s variable. I have mine set for 5 minimum. The only way to run continuous would be to run a GoPro.
