its a late comment but for anyone building with this exact motherboard: at 37:20 rob incorrectly put the pump header onto the CPU_FAN and the fan onto the SYS_FAN header. the 4 pin fan header should be going on that CPU_FAN header, not the 3 pin one he put on in the video, other than that this video got every step perfect

The best rams for this case imo are the corsair lpx. Much cheaper because no rgb and low profile. They are 170$ compared to the ones you used 294$ thats huge difference for exactly the same performance.

3 thoughts. 1)Liked that magnetized light. have used a headlamp and now have a ratcheting screwdriver with a light. 2)Too bad that MB didn't have a USB C header, they're not even that common on full ATX X570 below $200. 3)My main concern with this case is the AIO. It's a unique design with shorter tubes but only has a 3 year warranty. What happens when it fails after 3 years? Will an air cooler work with a 140 fan where the AIO is mounted? I don't think anyone has tested this yet.

That's an amazingly thought out case, but not for RGB lights, it doesn't even needed that transparent front shield because the way things are organized inside doesn't benefit the visualization of the parts, so assembling this case makes more sense focusing on the performance parts without RGB lights, save the money on the light and buy more powerful parts.

NZXT are using a vanilla USB 3 port with a USB C port on thier cases now.
So to get both working you need a mother board with both the usual USB3 connector AND the 20 pin IDC connector.
The board in the video doesn’t have the IDC socket...
ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming and the MSI MPG B550I GAMING EDGE WIFI do though.
As does the most expensive ASUS ROG STRIX X570-I GAMING board.
So if you want the USB C on the case to work, get one of those.
The ASRock mentioned above is actually a bit cheaper than the Gigabyte in the otherwise perfect video.
    :D

I’ve watched all of the H1 AMD build videos and this is the most thorough and detailed I’ve seen with great camera shots. Couple of questions. Did you need to flip a switch to enable the psu? I did not see that in the video. Also, should the thermal pad that came in the mobo packaging be placed in the m.2 heatsink? What other use would this be for?

    • @DMW1234

Great video man! Really interesting to see these videos on the H1 due to the rarity. I hate hate hate the way companies like NZXT seem to be copying companies like Apple when it comes to limited production in order to raise prices as if they make something so premium...... It's absurd... I was trying to get the black and blue H200 non-i for like 2 months of "out of stock" and then they removed the product all together.....what the heck man.... Now the H1 just shows the same non stop. /sighs PS::: Make sure to only do the "thermal benching" with the case completely shut when it comes to SFF. The temps with the whole case apart is completely irrelevant because no one's going to leave it apart and we won't know once the video ends if you put the case back on and temps shot to thermal shut down upon start up. lol =) Thanks RobeyTech!!!

Not sure I understand why the rig you've built here wouldn't be appropriate for 4K gaming (it should be fine for 100 fps). Otherwise a fine review/build.
