I don't think Zi Qiu ever actually loved her romantically. I think he loved her as a sister but was trying to push the relationship so he could have a actual family. I think he was scared of Ling Xiao and jianjian being together, not jealous. He probably thought that if they were together there would be no place for him.
I don't like Li Jianjian friends.... very petty towards her. on account of their short comings, they fight with her. she has such a joyous straight forward personality... I love her character. lol.... that kiss was a real shock to the system.... trying to assimilate her feelings in that moment... the change in their relationship- brother to boyfriend. so sweet that he has these feelings for her for such a long time. This moment explains the ' break up ' with Ren now 😆 episode. he realised then that the possibility was high that he would loose her to an artist and he was also so jealous .
This is what sister friends do - Li Jianjian comes from a loving family that dotes on her at every opportunity of course she is very happy and out going and a great achiever because she is not held back always encouraged. The two girlfriends have to fight with their families just to find peace and acceptance for their dreams. That is why they are all sister friends - fights blow over - sister friends are forever!!!! There is always a core that keeps a group together and their core is Li Jianjian. At times through the series I had to stop watching because Li Jianjian was too happy, silly and oblivious to what was happening around her.
