Greetings. I'm a merchant marine academy student and having a bit of a rough time reading the actual books and manuals. Your videos really help me out, thank you very much for your work.
Hi Jason - thank you for your kind comments. I totally understand your point. When I was doing my Merchant Navy Training as a Deck Officer, I found the text books "boring" very flat and in black on white pages! Your kind words encourage me to make more videos to animate and put colour in to learning! You will find more resources on our website www.coastalsafety.com Use the contact form and I'll drop you an email with some more assistance :-)
refering to the tug lights (starting at 03:22): ColRegs rule 24 states tugs using 2 (or 3 if more than 200m) toplights "instead" of toplights (as per rule 23 a 1 and 2, which refers to the normal one (or two) toplights). I am now confused as of these tugs using the (tug-)toplights (2 or 3) AND toplight for indicating the tugs length (1 or 2 if longer than 50m). Thanks for enlighting me.
3 forward masthead lights can easily be confused or miss construed against 2 forward mastheadlights and an after masthead light. However, in any case, it would most likely be prudent to keep well clear.

Ya, I love this music, helps to get in the groove with the learning :-)
Yep, cool music to help relax and learn !
If only there was a way to make the music louder, that would aid in my study and concentration significantly.
Thanks
