Good morning, I love Listening to my Bible Lessons today. Moses Chapter 7 Bless me to. Go to Church Sunday morning 🌄 Jehovah God 🙏 Thank you for your help. With my Shower CHAIR. BLESS ME TO CLEAN UP MY HOUSE 🏠. AMEN 🙏 CLARA EPPERSON WILLIAMS
When I was in this chapter in institute I said a little prayer about the flood and the people that were killed and I asked why. And the spirit said to me,."because I love them." And I thought about that for a second and it clicked for me. Those people were wicked and they were teaching their children wickedness and that trend was going to contact for many generations. This was still the beginning of time! These people were some of the very first people on earth! And we learn that when sin is taught to the children the blame is on the heads of the fathers'. And there is A LOT of time yet to come. Heavenly Father gave them a chance here! The sins they were teaching were swept away with the flood. They would not be accountable for their 7 thousandth grandson for being wicked. Not anymore. What a huge blessing for those wicked people! If we look at terrible things that happen and remember God loves us the story changes.
Yes and also giving those spirits on the other side waiting to be born a chance because God didn’t want to send his righteous spirits down to be parented by such wicked people. He started over to also give them a better chance to choose goodness.
I love how each week David Butler breaks down the scripture so I can understand it. I love how he can relate how the people are feeling in the scripture and how it relates to us. It was so good throughout the broadcast, but when he said that God does not give up on us, our families, and the world, my heart just melted for my Heavenly Father and the Savior. They weep for us and want to walk with us. This is enlightening spiritual dynamite to the world. Heartful thanks to David, Emily, young Joseph Smith, and those who help us to love the Old Testament even more.
46:47 lyrics to this song: “Yet” by Ashley Hess God, don't give up on me yet. I know I'm not your best bet. But I'm trying, so don't give up on me, yet. And God, don't leave me here alone. I know I need to grow still. And I'm trying, but don't leave me here alone. I know I've come so far, but got so far to go. And with these brand new scars and this broken heart, it's hard to really know if there's a reason, and if I'll ever see it. But I wanna believe it. So don't give up on me yet. God, I know it makes no sense. You love me time and time again. But I still need reminding. Yeah, I know it makes no sense. I know I've come so far, but got so far to go. And with these brand new scars, and this broken heart, It's hard to really know if there's a reason, and if I'll ever see it. But I wanna believe it. So don't give up on me yet. Oooh. God, I know I'm not the same. But you knew that I would change. And I think that you're trying to tell me it's okay. I know I've come so far, but got so far to go. And with these brand new scars, and this broken heart, It's hard to really know if there's a reason, and if I'll ever see it. But I wanna believe it. So don't give up on me yet. Oooh. I need Thee, O I need Thee. Every hour I need Thee. O bless me now, my Savior, I come to Thee. So don’t give up on me yet.
Ashley's song is beautiful!!!! A fitting end to a wonderful lesson. I am so grateful for you two. Thank you from the bottom, sides, and top of my heart!!!!!! 😘🥰😁
Emily, I love the story of sharing with your daughter the things you see in her, and just wanted to share this quote of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: The way you see people is the way you treat them, and the way you treat them is what they become. I am so grateful to all the people who saw goodness in me. We should all strive to see ourselves and each other the way God sees us. Thank you, Emily and David, for all you do to teach and strengthen others in the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Isn’t it exciting to have the gospel of Jesus Christ be summarized in these few exceptional verbs throughout the book of Moses?! In this weeks study the verb ‘to look’ was used so many times as an invitation from God to Enoch. We all are to look to Him and then ‘to walk’ with Him as we read in last weeks lesson, Enoch had been doing! Let’s see what other great verbs will stand out in the coming weeks! Thank you for this wonderful lesson once again!
I struggled to deliver my third child because he was so large. I was inches away from a C-section because I was so tired and close to giving up. This was the only time my husband was present in the delivery room and he pleaded with me to LOOK. Open your eyes and LOOK. I felt there were bricks on my eyelids and I struggled to open my eyes and “what did I see?” A head. My boy. Here he is and waiting to be born. The adrenaline arrived and shortly thereafter came my boy. All 11lb.9 oz. Of him. All because my husband was there to say LOOK and I did.
Hi this is Clara Williams, 🙏 for me and my Family to grow in Jesus name with 💕 Love and Understanding of one another. Bless me to listen to God 🙏 and Pray more.
Such a beautiful song by Ashley Hess. I also love “City On Our Knees” by Tobymac. It’s always been one of my favorites and really applies to this lesson and our hopes for our Zion and the millennium.
Zion is the place where we fell God's presence, in our homes, at work, at Church, sharing our testimonies. Everywhere can be Zion for we carry it with us in our hearts. Love you guys. Thank you
I was like " wait! but there must be something else because there are extra minutes on the video... "... and I stayed... soooo glad I did! one more song to add to my "running of Faith" playlist. beautifil
Thank you for helping me to listen 👂 to my Bible Lessons today. Bless me to get close to God 🙏 and Pray 🙏 for me and my Family. Bless me to go to Church Sunday morning 🌅. Clara Williams 🙏
I love in Mos. 7:59 when Enoch declares who he is. He has such confidence in knowing God. And I love the contrast to what we saw in Mos. 6:31 when Enoch is full of doubt about himself. His walk with God changed him. And the best part is that his new identity is firmly in Christ and as a son of God.
Thank you for your insights. You both go through and highlight the way I do and it is so refreshing to get greater perspective in your capacity to share. And Thank You for sharing Ashley’s song!!! I absolutely love it!
You guys are awesome! You both have made such a big impact on my life... I enjoy and understand the scriptures, specially the bible, so much better now than I have ever before, thank you both! 👍❤️ Keep up the good work! Love you guys!
Hi Emily and David! Just wanted to thank you for this video, it really helped me understand God more especially in regards to His judgement. You both really help me to understand more and more about Jesus Christ and I'm very grateful for that. Hope you both have a great day!
I think it could be said that the wickedness of Enoch's time could very well be the impetus to the creation of Zion. The people desired Zion all the more because of the horrific circumstances they were living in.
I've thought the same thing too. And I know we'll see the same thing in our day - the downward spiral of the world will create the perfect laboratory to create a zion-like, terrestrial people ready to welcome our Savior.
Don’t you think it’s already happening today? I often think we live in such wickedness now, but also more people are becoming more and more unwilling to live in such wickedness and are crying out for change eg people now are more aware of abuse and are trying to stop it, more and more people are aware of unfair and intolerant behaviour and are calling people out on it, people now are more aware of the damage of bullying etc.
Helaman 12:3 And thus we see that except the Lord doth chasten his people with many afflictions, yea, except he doth visit them with death and with terror, and with famine and with all manner of pestilence, they will not remember him.
In expanding on the analogy of why we are named, and how we grow into them I think how we so often choose names for our own children that are the names of those we admire and hope they will become like that person, whether a grandparent , president, favorite teacher, or friend. We link our hopes to their goodness. I think every 10th boy in Mexico are named Jesus.
Hi this is Corey Miles, pray 🙏 for me and my Family. God help me listen to you. Help me to be clean. Bless me to wash my Blanket s, and my clothes and bless me with some Food and some money 💸💰.
Please tell me how we can get Ashley Hess’ song on my iPhone library!??? She’s amazing. I have 6 of her her songs in my Sunday playlist already but I want this one too!!!
Can we get the full name of the artist and the song title for the musical number at the end? I can’t even find another RUclips video that is a high quality recording of this song. Where can we go for a download? Thanks! Loved this week’s lesson!
Hi this is Felicia Miles 😊 pray 🙏 for me and my Family 💕. Bless me God 🙏 to. Take care of my Family and my animal s Bless me to listen to God 🙏 and I Hope I get my Apartment back.
I like the King James Version of the Bible the best. The more it is translated, the more things are lost in my opinion...but the official Bible of the church right now is the King James Version. It is OK for others to read the ones they understand the most, but I still believe we should quote from King James Bible when referencing. This is my opinion. Such a wonderful ending with the beautiful song. Thanks for adding it on.
I think I found Jesus in this lesson. God will send a flood od Truth and Righteousness. Truth is a person; Jesus. In verses 45 and 47 "Righteous" is capitalized, a name, who? Jesus. Enoch's vision of an Earth that will 'rest' is Jesus. I also found that a the wicked were taken to a 'prison' ; A spirit prison, where they will be given another chance to make a choice to become Zion. God's love for those that died in the Flood, let's them have more process of time. I enjoyed Jared Halvorsen's Unshaken channel on RUclips tis week inwhich I learned so much about justification and sanctification in this chapter and a deep lesson in Infinate and Intimate love.... The One. This has become my favorite chapter in scriptures, and Enoch my favorite story of recieving the Gift of Charity.
Thanks for another fabulous, spiritual lesson! I had never heard of a ESV study Bible, now I am a proud owner, haha 😂, and I find it a great additional resource.

I love you guys! I’m trying to get into the inklings app and into the don’t miss this app…but it says I need a password and username but there’s not a way to create an account….am I missing something?
@@reneeparkinson2296 Oh my goodness I had not watched this episode yet, so didn’t even realize the question I was asking was answered in this one!! (I hadn’t seen the mention in the last few…) thank you for the answer!
The two of you are SOOO amazing and I LOVE what you do in helping to open the scriptures to the masses! I'm using a couple of principles I learned here in a talk I'm giving tomorrow in Sacrament Meeting, but I don't know quite how to refer to you. The word "RUclipsrs" doesn't feel right. I want to call this a "Podcast", but that doesn't get it either. How SHOULD I refer to you and what you do here? Many thanks!
David and Emily are teachers in the church education system. They have both taught seminary classes. David now is currently an institute teacher at UVU. I think that Emily still teaches a seminary class. They both are teachers for Time Out for Women through Deseret Book. They are religious educators teaching come follow me podcasts on RUclips. Hope this helps you understand who they are.
Enoch is 7 generations from Adam. Isn't that key? 7 is the number of perfection or completion, and he did just that - building a city of holiness to the Lord. Great lesson as always. I loved especially the power of ONE. ~ Eleni
Promises of God: please put them on full screen so we can pause and write them down. I rewound you so many times I totally destroyed the spirit being frustrated.
Someone please help me... I'm trying to use the Don't Miss This app and cannot figure out how to register for the first time. It's simply saying to "Log in if you already have your username...". I do not have a username yet. Hmm? TY

46:47 lyrics to this song:
“Yet” by Ashley Hess
God, don't give up on me yet.
I know I'm not your best bet.
But I'm trying, so don't give up on me, yet.
And God, don't leave me here alone.
I know I need to grow still.
And I'm trying, but don't leave me here alone.
I know I've come so far, but got so far to go.
And with these brand new scars and this broken heart,
it's hard to really know if there's a reason, and if I'll ever see it.
But I wanna believe it. So don't give up on me yet.
God, I know it makes no sense.
You love me time and time again.
But I still need reminding.
Yeah, I know it makes no sense.
I know I've come so far, but got so far to go.
And with these brand new scars, and this broken heart,
It's hard to really know if there's a reason, and if I'll ever see it.
But I wanna believe it. So don't give up on me yet.
Oooh.
God, I know I'm not the same.
But you knew that I would change.
And I think that you're trying to tell me it's okay.
I know I've come so far, but got so far to go.
And with these brand new scars, and this broken heart,
It's hard to really know if there's a reason, and if I'll ever see it.
But I wanna believe it. So don't give up on me yet.
Oooh.
I need Thee, O I need Thee.
Every hour I need Thee.
O bless me now, my Savior,
I come to Thee.
So don’t give up on me yet.
THANK YOU!!!
Thank you

I think it could be said that the wickedness of Enoch's time could very well be the impetus to the creation of Zion. The people desired Zion all the more because of the horrific circumstances they were living in.
I've thought the same thing too. And I know we'll see the same thing in our day - the downward spiral of the world will create the perfect laboratory to create a zion-like, terrestrial people ready to welcome our Savior.
Then there is hope for today!
I agree Suzan! I was just explaining this very idea to my friend.
This is SO what I needed today. Thank you.

~42 minutes, it can’t be a coincidence that a name given for God is Immanuel, literally meaning “God with us”
any beautiful and loving parent weeps when their children make mistakes and turn from truth.
You guys are FANTASTIC - Thanks for all your time and talents you share with each of us. Question: I save all you Screen Shots . For some reason I didn't get numbers 4 & 5. Where can I get them?
❤️
That girl needs to publish that song
I love you guys! I’m trying to get into the inklings app and into the don’t miss this app…but it says I need a password and username but there’s not a way to create an account….am I missing something?
I’m having the same issue!
Nice ending.
Can you find Ashley's beautiful song anywhere else? I would really love to share it with my seminary class.
Or even the written lyrics?
In Megan we trust.
I think that song could go big.
How do I find the ESV study bible they use?
Does anyone remember what David and Emily’s other versions of the Bible (which other translations) are their favorite to study along with the KJV?
ESV (English Standard Version) and NIV (New International Version)
Where do I sign for the newsletter??
Thanks. You guys are awesome.
I need some help knowing how to find the promises I can not find them in the newsletter I know there are so many promises !
Enoch is 7 generations from Adam. Isn't that key? 7 is the number of perfection or completion, and he did just that - building a city of holiness to the Lord.
Great lesson as always. I loved especially the power of ONE. ~ Eleni
Who is the author of the ESV Study bible that you like?
Promises of God: please put them on full screen so we can pause and write them down. I rewound you so many times I totally destroyed the spirit being frustrated.
They are always in the newsletter archives.
I did not get the Moses 7 newsletter! Could you please send it out again?? Please
Google Don’t miss this newsletter archives.
Does any one know who the Author is with Sister Freeman ESV bible study please. Awesome lesson

Can someone tell me how to get transcripts for Don’t Miss This episodes?
You probably have to pay for youtube to get the transcripts … I’m guessing. But you just have to click CC up top and you can ready while you watch it
Emily is so pretty in this video 🙂
You mentioned a friend of yours had written a book. What is the title? And what was his name?
33:00 Do I detect a subtle Rick Roll?
I laughed way to hard at this comment. Thank you for the smiles!
Maybe I misunderstood, but the people of Canaan were not the people who became Zion. Verse 12 indicates that Enoch did not preach unto them.
I downloaded your app but it requires password. is this correct?
yes first go to dontmissthisapp.com to subscribe :)
