Fabulous rendition of the LANKUM song about the prostitutes who served the soldiers on the plains of Kildare called the Curragh; and they called the Curragh wrens. This is modern Irish poetry at its finest. Pared down, no superfluity, I cried.

The song is based on a true story of the Wrens of the Curragh (County Kildare - Ireland).
