Home Made 4 Seater Go Kart Engine Rebuild & Ride

- Today we revive the first ever frame we build on the channel. 7 years ago I took the challenge to build a 4 seater go kart for some foster kids. We put tons of time in this machine building it entirely with a 110v welder and a angle grinder. With the help of family and friends we was able to accomplish this huge build. Now after years of setting with a blown engine, we get it in the garage for a freshen up and take it for a rip. How did we do on our first build?

Great job. Love 150cc content. TIP: Place a long zip tie on the timing chain. Easier to feed and hold on to.
Considering the air filter situation I probably would have done a valve job on it too. All that dirt had to go past the intake valve to get into the cylinder. Nice toutorial video on the rebuild. Well done.
Yes, I was thinking valve inspection & a quick hand lapping just as Greg started to put the cyl. head back on. That way all combustion is sealed & fresh for a long time. Maybe off camera he sprayed carb cleaner down the ports & the valves did not leak? much?...
Man a blast from the past. I remember this one.
To me, you're not just a youtuber. You know all that you are and i'm not going to name each and every trait that I admire. Keep on blessing people.
Keep on fishing.
And most importantly, God bless RBG!
PS:
I will never get tired of seeing you two have fun
Great video and testimony as to what God can do in our lives, God Bless y'all 👍🙏
God bless you and yours Greg ❤️🙏 I've been there.,(obviously not with a you tube channel.
That bed liner still looks nice really. Cool to see the suspension works great.
Well old son, you two have nailed it again, great show. The newest tech, but still doing everything from old hanging 150cc to high output power builds. keep your mix sir, everyone can get somthing from your broadcast's

Great video as always RB
Hi Red Beard great video would love to see you build a cyclekart.
Amen brother. Good job sky's the limit keep it going
I remember this build
Hoping to do a from scratch build in the future! The build process is very cool to watch.
Legal esse projeto sou do Brasil e curto muito esse tipo de projeto
Hell yeah same for me. I’ve been building in gokarts since elementary school and I’m 36 years old. Lost my dad when I was six. I’ve always been a perfectionist. I always had the mindset of build it cheaper and faster, and better than everyone else.as I gotten older it’s a fun hobby not a competition
The reason I keep watching your videos is because you love Jesus and your team supports your guidance
Cool to see giving God the credit.
This may not be the fanciest build but it was one of my favorites. Very cool to watch you learn how to build. Plus you created a 4 seat gokart that foster kids got to have fun on for years! Simple and fun buddy
Am i the only one that saw that chain guide go back in upside down!!!!!!!!!!
No you're not and that's not the only thing I'm just trying to be nice
I believe that the air filter works fine I have them on my guzzi for the last 20 years you must wash and oil them ( it's what catches the dirt ) if you run them dry they will let dust in. Good work 👍
7 Years?Good gosh, but time flies while we watch you having fun ;) Thanks for All your hard work over the years. Over 418 Thousand of us look forward to your next video.Cya then.
That was waaaaayyyyy back. I remember that

I cant beleive its been 7 yrs
I have a question my 212s electric start won't turn the motor over fast enough to start it
can I up the cranking amps by getting a bigger battery
We want predator 670 six speed chopper build ... Like this comment if you agree ✊
Can you run a streetbike motor on a live rear axle or should it be irs ?on a gokart buggy
Hey bud, I swapped my subaru 9.0 for a predator 420cc, and the bolt for the clutch is bigger than the predator .I'm thinking by one size thicker and trouble finding a bolt in my small town.
Man I absolutely love how you gave the glory to God at the end and how you always put Bible verses in your videos. May God bless you and everything you do brother, I know you've blessed me with a lot with your videos. I have found so much useful information from you and you have inspired me to get into mini bikes and mechanicing, I started trying to make a buggy frame myself when I started watching you, @ratherbewelding @grindhardplumingco and others. Like I said may God bless you, your family and everything you do💪✝️😎
God didn't do it!! You did!
All that you have; you made that happen.
Hey red beard idk if you’ll respond but rn I’m building a swing arm and I wanna get the duramax 440 but my question is is how far should I weld my motor mount plate away from my sprocket if anyone has a measurement on that lmk
How much would it cost me to make one of these but with a bigger motor
Hello sir would you sell the 4 stroke minibike?
You can't ever replace those memories. That's what counts. You can hear the smile in your voice reminiscing about the old girl. I think she looks great.
God bless you and yours Greg 🙏❤️
I really need some advice from somebody can I run a 265 cam and billet flywheel in a 212 predator non-hemi or 212 predator hemi without rebuilding I hope someone can help me out with some advice 🙏🙏🙏
You'll have to clearance the crank so it doesn't hit the cam, and check your pushrods to be sure they aren't too long, which they probably will be with the longer lift.
@@bryduhbikeguy I'm sorry I meant a 165 racing cam do I still have to replace the pushrods and check clearance?
That was a well built rig.
