Great to learn the history. I like the look of this foundation.
Glad you enjoyed it, yes interesting History!
Somewhere I've not heard of. Interesting place.
Yes indeed! Not sure you would want to drive that road in Raymond though it's narrow in places!
Very cool fountain👍👍
Not many with a lions head mate
Very cool tidbit!! Bet it tasted cool and delightful!
It was! Not sure if I should have been drinking it or not but tasted fine lol
Pretty cool!!! 👍👍👍
Indeed Budd! Cheers for watching!
interesting place and history mate
Very much so! Cheers Dale
Interesting story on how the well got its name. I actually think that’s pretty cool. It’s a complete opposite of the towns name. 👍4
Thanks Craig!
cool area
Indeed mate
Hi that was really fascinating, great that it is still providing fresh water just the job if you had a horse 🐎. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Yes, think it’s just never stops flowing! It was a great idea! It’s weird when you see it because it’s middle of nowhere really.
That is a really nice fountain (well) horses and then later automobiles radiators I would guess. We have similar ones in the passes crossing Cascade range built in the 30s for automobiles.
Indeed mate. I almost drove right past it. Only time I've encountered anything like that was in death valley but they were modern and because as you know they are needed lol
Nice find 👌 how did it taste?
Well I was hoping it would be like a dram of finest whiskey mate bit it tasted just like spring water lol I wasn't ill so that's one thing lol
Interesting! Never came across that well.
If you come back from Lochgoilhead and you have the fork left and right, right taking you back up to rest and be thankful, go left instead and it's on that small lane.
@@RaymondoLeeTravelCheers Raymondo.
I would assume because water was needed. 😊
Yes but why was the water needed at that spot? 😆
Any toilets nearby because that water is really loud 😅
Such a quaint well
😂 very true indeed! Thankfully I had only been in the car 15 mins so all good 👍🏼
