    I seriously think they move the goal post because it makes no sense why the board can't give a scoring pass.

      The MPS can change each exam window due to the fact they change the questions and the exam's difficulty therefore can vary. But the goal is for a consistent standard for passers. If you study correctly and practice sufficiently, you will be in an excellent position regardless of your exam's month or year. Good luck in your studies - may the odds be in your favor.

      Some questions are ungraded "trial" questions that the CFA Institute adds to test questions for future exams. You won't know which ones they are. The number can vary and the CFA Institute is the best source to ask questions about your particular exam's trial questions. I would not think too much about them because it can be a distraction.       The point of the video is there is no numerical answer. If you feel there is one, then you're mistaken and you're distracting study time to chase an illusion. The video directs you to what you should focus on, and to avoid such distractions. This is the learning outcome to take from the video.
