    Went into a Morrisons filling station and the guy in front of me was a motorcyclist wearing a helmet, He has his credit card in his hand ready to pay. The woman behind the till became quite offensive demanding he remove his helmet before he could pay. his reply was do you want me to pay or not, proffering his credit card. I payed at the next till and left after that. Next week at the same filling station a woman wearing a burka came in to pay. Same woman behing the till and no challenge. One law for them and one for us. They choose to live in our country they must accept our values. In honesty I would now choose to ban the burka in public places. I have no religion but see most countries arround the world seem to be able to bring their religious beliefs into the 21st century. I am afraid islam is still in the dark ages fighting a subtle war for religious domination. It has little place in a free Britain.

    • @SAHBfan
      @SAHBfan 6 лет назад +8

      Rob Lloyd - as an ex motorcyclist I have experienced that situation a lot. Not just filling stations, but supermarkets, too. I have been told to remove my helmet in a supermarket (a pain... Helmet in one hand, basket in the other, no hands left to shop with) but then the security guard insisted I left my helmet at an unattended till, presumably so I could slip a pack of sausages or pack of biscuits in it... My helmet was worth £200 and I have to leave it unattended for anyone to walk off with (which would then mean I could 't ride home). Lots of anti motorcyclist attitude out there... But would they DARE ask a muslim woman to show her face? Not even in an airport...

    WINSTON CHURCHILL had a disdain for Islam in his book the River War, Boris Johnson wrote a book about Churchill. British people have a right to defend ithe cultural values of BRITAIN. ISLAM has the right to defend their values but are able to do in MUSLIM countries Saudi Arabia, Middle East, but should not be offended when Europeans express their views to their own cultural stance. ISLAM cannot have it both ways. The dress is acceptable in Saudi Arabia, Middle East but this type of dress is not seen as accepted in Western society, Islamic society is showing a disdain for Western society in the west with its liberal values has said nothing. The time has come to be shown that this is not normal nor an accepted dress practice in Europe, fine in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan.
    Boris Johnson has every right and will probably express the feelings of many British people who will agree with him.

    In the West, we live in a highly open, high trust society. That open, trusting democracy requires that you reveal your identity in public spaces. Additionally, humans evolved to require highly integrated social groups to reveal faces. Our brains are wired to assess facial expressions for signs of intent of the person you are looking at.
    Not being able to see those expressions and signs can only lead to mistrust. Its why we find it so creepy when someone has no movement in their facial muscles when they are speaking or listening. Its why we have whites in our eyes, so that we can see what people are looking at. There is anthropoligical evidence that early humans with little or no whites in their eyes were murdered by the group because they were not trusted. Its why monsters never have whites in their eyes.
    Covering of the face is intimidating and leads to an inescapable instinct not to trust the person you are talking to. Thats the key phrase here, INESCAPABLE INSTINCT. Instinct cannot be waved away by SJWs and political islam.

      Origins The Burka is an addition to a religion to cover women up in case another had desires for her, a religion is not a race so to call out someone as racist over the burka which is not an original part of the religion of peace is hypocritical and very misguided religious views are not a race issue, many races follow a faith only a very small proportion of followers require their women to cover up to this extreme. Call them religionist by all means, but racists is insulting peoples intelligence.

    Boris is absolutely spot on, two brief examples as to why.
    First there was an armed robbery in Bradford during which a WPC was murdered. The robbery was carried out by a so called Somali asylum seeker, who subsequently escaped back to Somalia to evade arrest, and he did so wearing a Burka. Secondly there was a failed attempted bombing in London a fortnight after 7/7. One of the perpetrators whose home was surrounded by Police escaped immediate arrest by travelling to Birmingham by wearing a Burka. These two examples demonstrate the danger of allowing this garment it is a risk to our security and safety and should be made illegal. Boris is quite right, and apart from that just exactly what happened to Boris freedom of speech?

      Dez Alan Well yes, because then you need to remember the reason why in the U.K. you have to remove your helmet, it’s due to all the robberies that take place, some armed, by people wearing helmets. So it’s a good thing to ask people to remove them, my point was more about the fact that the Burka doesn’t fall under the same laws when it should! You can’t have one law for one group, another for another group..

    No apology, no regret, no surrender to PC bull541t. Mutual respect for all views is needed if freedom of speech and expression is to continue. As a Brit you have the freedom to feel offended, but not the freedom to shut down that which offends you.

      I'm sorry Common Sense but being new to this sort of debate I am not familiar with Alex Jones however, if he has been shut down for expressing unpopular views then this is clearly not right. We must resist all attempts to silence freedom of speech and expression. We must be free to comment upon all aspects of our lives and the immigration of Islam is no exception to this.

    If burka or Hijab oppresses woman's free rights, why not ban it like France. It causes far too much issues around the world in free democratic societies. It is very intimidating and offensive when seeing women dressed like this. Boris should not apologise for his descriptions, they are accurate. There are no rules about dress attire in the UK and there never will. Muslims will always want to oppress womens right to wear what they want. What you wear in Churches or religious buildings is something completely different.

    • @hughjones4049
      @hughjones4049 4 года назад

      I don't like the burqa but nonetheless, I guess what you'd do is first, try talking to her. "Are you ok? Can you hear me?" Ask some basic questions to see if she's fully conscious and coherent. If she's not, you could say "I hope you don't mind. It seems like an emergency, I going to remove your veil to see if you're breathing". Like that, you see. Also, you could stop some other passers by and what would be ideal would be to get a woman to help her, if one is around. Better still get another Muslim woman to help her. But if those aren't an option, you help her yourself. Get witnesses if you can as well. I don't agree with the Burqa, but in terms of your question, in that situation, that's how you'd go about helping. If she's not breathing, get the most suitable person present to resuscitate her, but if no one suitable is around then you do this yourself, in order to save her life. Maybe record on your phone just to be safe. There's always a way of doing things even when the situation isn't ideal.
