Are you able to use Polygon in combination with Ethereum (eg. small value with Polygon and high value with Ethereum)? Or is this a bad practice?
Thanks for this video. I was looking everywhere for an answer to the question of which blockchain to list my NFTs on.
which did you end up using?
I find this little overview too on the surface - isn't Ethereums PoS mechanism making polygons side chain PoS stuff obsolete?
That is how i understood it too, the polygon-use-case he talks about is just a workaround until ethereum solves it scaling problems. As far as i know polygon expanded to lots of other use cases. That might be the reason.
@@bferklbfiaebfj ethereum 2.0 is gonna solve the fees problems?
Most side-chains will probably become a shard of Ethereum 2.0 in the future.
Which is better Ethereum or Pologun for NFT in opensea
ETH 2.0 vs polygon is what I want to know 😅
Yes yes
How about using Digibyte?
if i deploy to polygon.. but in the contract i used ether as the cost what will happen? will the cost automatically get converted to Polygon... or would i have to add erc20 into my contract.
This is precisely my doubt as well. If I host it on the Polygon blockchain but get paid in Ethereum (which OpenSea seems to be allowing), then am I getting paid in Eth or not?
@@jaymavs This Is my doubt as well. I hope he sees this.
Solid explanation, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, how much does it cost to deploy 10000 nfts on polygon ?
On open sea cost 0
Is the Polygon Blockchain/Network connected to the Ethereum Blockchain to where an NFT can appear in both? I'm confused sorry
As an ETH holder do ETH hoders benfit from polygon. Will polygon kill Ethereum or will they always be a team.
Which is better
Can one use Polygon independently, without having to do anything with Ethereum ?
It should be doable, but if you have specific questions about that you should post them in our Moralis Forum for better feedback
Great info is a dApp built through things like moralis considered legit in the crypto world?
If I just copy and paste most of my build to make it work would people consider that’s a bad thing?
Nice video 👌
How to create and upload my nft can you guide me?
When I want to move my eth to withdraw. Moving it to mainnet also costs a lot
I already sold one of my NFT's but the money only pop out on my Opensea wallet, not on my Metamask.😓
Hey any update on your nft money?)
thanks man .. wow
thanks
Very helpful, thank you!
People like to expose a video as an animation. Which application should I use?
what the difference between eth and polygon on nft ؟
I think it's the same but you have a little less security since it goes into a side chain before making it into the Ethereum chain. Like you could use Ethereum if sending thousands of dollars, polygon is fine for smaller stuff
ETH+Polygon
Love the batik shirt🥰
ETH for majors, Matic for bums, it's like comparing a BMW 750 and a BMW 320
Nice Analogy!
i just left more confused,
ETHEREUM is too EXPENSIVE but it FAST. Meanwhile POLYGON is CHEAP but the connection is NOT ONLY SLOW but can't not detect...yes.... no....yes....no. Please ask Polygon team not to deploy on share Hosting!!!
Polygon is a Layer 1 chain.
Polygon is actually a layer 2 Blockchain and it aims to help Ethereum with scalability. The amount of activity on Ethereum can sometimes cause clogs in the network and Polygon address some of those challenges such as high transaction costs, etc. It is built on top of Ethereum.
@@MoralisWeb3 A side chain isn't considered Layer 2. Polygon PoS is a side-chain like xDAI or others. You have basically another network infrastructure and a different ledger from Ethereum. The main token for gas isn't Ether but Matic. They build on Ethereum technology. Layer 2 chains use Ether as main token for gas fees and the transactions commited on Layer 2 are written on the Ethereum Layer afterwards. To work with Polygon, you need a bridge for back and forth transactions. It solves scalability issues but lacks security.
Thanks for such detailed explanation @Steve, this information could help a lot the community. I strongly suggest we continue this discussion on our forum and let's learn all together!
@@MoralisWeb3 I will.
Better Cardano and throw Ethereum in garbage
IOll take that bet Cardano is for idiots. ETH is for smart people.
I understand little little. )) I should learn English language.
Ни хера не понимаю на английском.😁
Video has been made for lol's.
Eth fees are low af now.
Could you tell us an approximate $ amount to provide liquidity and then farm the LP token on Ethereum? -Swap for each token 50/50, then approve each, then add liquidity, then farm the LP token (approve, deposit), then claim any rewards each day. Then, later reverse out of this, back to original token. I don't actually know the amount. It's a lot of transactions.
Ethereum fees are out of control buddy!
If they are good for you, you have a lot to learn!
