@@ProjectSimRacing then again the car might be really stiff 😄 i guess you can adjust the kick strength in software? Do they work with every game just like that or?
@mezkhalin yes I can adjust them in SimHub and they work on most games. All the games that I play work with SimHub, but I'm sure there's some that don't. 😁
I have lots of Philips Hue lights already. You can see them in my setup tour video here ruclips.net/video/_BNNc7JcLVM/видео.htmlsi=mG9_RZ_XtRTJ-NaD But thanks for the advice 👍😊
Hey! My bass shaker kit with springs recently arrived, it's amazing, a bass shaker in each corner of the cockpit, but I'm lost with so many variations and possible configurations to make, could you give me some idea of how you got the ideal configuration for you? ? In your case, do you switch between different setups depending on the game?
Congrats on getting your bass shaker kit, @Pedro-fo4et! 😊 It's really a matter of personal preference, but I often find that 'less is more' when it comes to settings. For some great ideas on configurations, I'd recommend checking out this video: ruclips.net/video/gUF98ihJ2Yo/видео.htmlsi=Vn3P7eHarC4dUfzA. The settings there are very good 👍
@@ProjectSimRacing Thanks for the recommendation, I just had one thing on my mind, on the slip-angle website for their instructions, in the part where we configure the driver they recommend using Surround 7.1 while in this video it uses Surround 5.1. Which one do you use? One more thing, if it doesn't bother you, after playing a game, do you usually turn off the power strip? Even after turning off Windows, what about the Fanatec direct drive base?
@Pedro-fo4et that doesn't really matter. I use 5.1 but that doesn't really matter. The most important thing is that you set them up correctly in SimHub😊 And I never turn them off, but I always turn off my Fanatec base😊
@@ProjectSimRacing However, even if you turn off your Fanatec base, the base source still has a light on, correct? Or you can unplug it from the socket too (either by hand or with an on/off button on the power strip) I'm sorry, these questions may be very stupid, but it means a lot to me to know, I tried to research what is the most correct and I really couldn't find it.
They didn't do anything special for the graphics with this DLC.. So I think it has to do a oot with ny PC and the way I film using this setup ruclips.net/video/_BNNc7JcLVM/видео.htmlsi=mG9_RZ_XtRTJ-NaD
@@ProjectSimRacing nice. I ask because it looks like your hardware cockpit (button box) shake together with the car (in game). Or did you motion track game cockpit an applied shake to gopro footage (but I guess this would be too much for video editing)
@MIMCKMedia no, but having the rig on Slip-Angle lsolators, does allow the rig to move around from my movement. Here's how it looks ruclips.net/video/_BNNc7JcLVM/видео.htmlsi=mG9_RZ_XtRTJ-NaD
Roughly how far away from the 55" monitors is your steering wheel? Its hard to get a perspective of the distance in the video since it looks so realistic.

@ProjectSimRacing I mean, really.. You are lucky to have such an amazing triple-screen and spatial audio. Just check your mirrors (and pay attention to sounds around) before and after the move. You will start to guess better when to attack too. Plus, in real life you will retain the skill driving without spotter ;) Driving "monkey style, waiting for an instructor to say go/hold" is not what a man should do. 😉 It's more fun after all, and it is a shame that triple-screen and VR guys skip this experience/immersion.

@@ProjectSimRacing I'll have to dig around and find it. I really envy your setup. I have a great base setup started, but wanna add triples. It's a space cut down option, is the reason.
Adding two 27" monitors to your 48" OLED could really enhance your experience. While finding well-priced OLEDs can be challenging, the visual payoff is often worth it. As for Nvidia Surround, it generally handles multiple monitors well, especially with a 4090. It's always a bit of trial and error to find the perfect balance for your space and needs
@@ProjectSimRacing hey thanks for a lil reassurance. I'll be attempting to keep 2 monitors on desktop and then be able to run 4 monitors at once for the sim rig while racing. I MIGHT have to reduce res to 1440 while using the triples...because of cost on the smaller monitors. They cost as much as my 48! Lol makes no sense. You see a downside to running 75hz on my 2nd and 3rd? I feel like I'd hardly notice and cost would reduce significantly ya know while keeping 4k possibly
@Cereal_Killr, tackling the challenge of balancing monitor setup and performance is always interesting. About your question on 75hz for the side monitors, personal preference plays a big role. Personally, I find that anything below 120fps isn't ideal for me. I get motion sickness even at 90fps. But everyone's experience varies. Testing different setups might help you find the perfect fit for both performance and budget
