Thank you Ireland, for sending many Christians missionaries around thd world, I am from India ,in the nineteen sixties and seventies ,I studied in a school run by Irish Christian missionaries in Shillong in North eastern Indian state of Meghalaya, they taught us decency, charity, to be law abiding, and to value song cheer and laughter above gold,Thank you Ireland for your wonderful culture, kindness and charity and help to all generations of humanity in Asia, Africa and America's, we are grateful to all Irish people, with love ,respect and gratitude, from joseph, kerala India
I and my brother were 7 and 8 years old and we travelled 7 miles one way to grind the we grew on farm is was a water run mill wait our turn 2 to 4 hours the drove our donkey and cart God blessed us for our courage that was in 1938.
I was lucky to meet an Irish beauty from County Carlow who was brought up in the countryside in the 1950s..what a simple life.quite rough but nobody knew people who were rich!!At 7 years old she would be picking potatoes in the fields and feeding all sorts of animals..some older men would walk 5 miles over fields in the rain to school..aged six years old!!
@@barbarahallinan1151 We are all gods children, every colour every nationality, every religion people fight and no one is better then another.. Amazing! No electricity, no Tv or radio, no running water or proper washing facilities or sewage treatment facilities, no heating in winter only fireplace. Probably 1 main meal a day. No fancy clothes, shoes, or fancy food, large families of maybe 6 or more children and YET they carried on regardless! Amazing people. How many people would survive that today?

Wow. I saw some people who looked like they could be my relatives. Then some that could be my wife's. Then I saw the guy across the road.
See what oppression does to a people. Never forget.
Looking at Ireland today and you can see what prosperity does to a people. The road to annihilation!

Era notório a pobreza das pessoas, porém, as pessoas parecem felizes levando a vida do geito que puder.
