I think she got the spirit of Italian food right with just simplicity, good flavors, and good ingredients. The other two were just being way too extra. He was super nice to their dishes, but you can tell he actually liked the last.
Think he was hungry and not picky.
But wanting to clear the last plate means he'd eat the other two but it wasn't no nonna's food.
I would go further than saying she got thew spirit of italian food. I live in Italy and stuffed bell peppers is a pretty standard dish. The filling itself seems to be a bit freeform. The other two were extra though. I didn't like how the first girl said she made a "healthy" pasta. Real pasta dishes are already healthy.

@@mcchilde2903 Yeah, chickpeas vs wheat starch, not even the whole grain. I literally eat chickpea pasta exclusively for health reasons. I'm not gonna say wheat starch is unhealthy if you don't have any problem with gluten but it can't compare to whole chickpeas for nutrition. Also, how is a plate of pasta with pesto on it "too extra?"

I am not mad this bachelor guy. I love everything about him. Even on how he analyzes the food. And I love "pepper girl's" reaction. Happy she won.
As an Italian... The saying "When in doubt, add garlic" is kinda like our motto. XD
And he is really nice about everything, very polite and well-mannered, I approve of my countryman XD

As an American who’s obsessed with Italian food, I agree with this motto. I’m convinced you can never have too much.

I love that all the ladies did not try to impress with overly complicated or fancy cooking but rather something they would cook for themselves and represent their personality. Also kudos to an Italian who is vegetarian, that is quite rare. He seems to be very kind and supportive. All in all a great bunch of people in this video

They seem to have totally different personalities but could find a connection on a deeper level.
That's the difference between 'comradery' and 'compatibility'. People often mistakenly assume like-should-be-attracted-to-like, when it is the contrast that creates a deeper long-term connection, as if ironing out each other's faults, genetically and personality wise.
