    Great video! Even more words than the sports video. I looked around our kitchen and see, "coffee maker", "blender" and "can opener. " In America we don't have kitchen scales, but use, "measuring cups" and "measuring spoons," Do any of these have Afrikaans names, or are they just the English names?

      Thanks for asking this question! Measuring cups = maatbekers and Measuring spoons = maatlepels in Afrikaans.

      @@ETAfrikaans Ah, that makes sense. I only knew "maat" to mean "size", but I can see where that would also be "measure." Thanks!
