Regarding that question of whether you would ever have cameras filming you all the time with a TV show I’m glad that you are not considering that venue. For me what makes your channel special is your authenticity and your artistic freedom. I think that you would lose the personal touch and the love that comes through the TV screen with each of your videos if you were to have a network filming you.

I’m 72 and you and Guido bring such joy to my life. I’ve never been lucky in love but my love of Christ has always been so blessed that I was fine with whatever happened. I’ve always been a deep romantic so I’m very happy to see beautiful couples that have deep commitments with each other. It’s rather extraordinary in today’s world. I cried when you spoke about that individual who lost his sister and brother-in-law. I lost my dad in an automobile accident when I was 2 years old. As an Australian you may have heard our brilliant Italian designer Carla Zampatti slipped on some stairs and passed away a week later. I had bought one of her shorter jackets and know I will always be able to wear it and treasure it. It is timeless. I can imagine buying a jacket in tapestry type fabric and mixing it with one of the many colours a tapestry holds. Another timeless piece, this time from a different talented Italian designer. What a great way of looking at marriage - I’m in my 50’s and I’ve never married . I’ve been engaged twice but I never felt 100% sure so I chose to not go ahead because I want to marry once . Making those vows is a very deep commitment and I want to know that if I make them , it is with the right intent .

That’s why marriage is a sacrament in the Church. The other vocational sacrament is Holy Orders - the priests, nuns, and other religious whose vocation is to serve in an unmarried state full-time in an Order. (When my funk drummer gets on my last nerve, I try to remember it’s not about him. I made a vow to do this job of wife-ing. I try to do it well. Usually, when I remember that, I also remember how wonderful he is. ☺️)

Don’t get me wrong, even after 17 years of living here or possibly because of the amount of time I’ve spent here I still love Italy. Sadly though, if I were, to sum up, the life motto of many Italians it would be in the phrase: “che te ne frega” which could be summarized in its translation as, why should I care, who cares or why should I be bothered. A phrase used all the time by people, politicians, you name it. It is this mentality that keeps Italy from shining like the diamond it could be.

Glad to know that you attended Pre- Cana classes before marriage. The priest does not live an isolated life. He would not look down on the pregnant bride to be. Many young people have sex before marriage. Many who conceive do not bring baby to term. I salute the pregnant young lady for choosing life especially in Italy, a country with a low birth rate and that is rapidly losing population . I wish for that couple a successful and blessed marriage also.

For me what makes your channel special is your authenticity and your artistic freedom. I think that you would lose the personal touch and the love that comes through the TV screen with each of your videos if you were to have a network filming you.

I’m 72 and you and Guido bring such joy to my life. I’ve never been lucky in love but my love of Christ has always been so blessed that I was fine with whatever happened. I’ve always been a deep romantic so I’m very happy to see beautiful couples that have deep commitments with each other. It’s rather extraordinary in today’s world. Most people want to know what the other will bring to the relationship. I’ve always taught my daughter if she would leave “ me” out of her marriage and concentrate on him it would always work out. As an Australian you may have heard our brilliant Italian designer Carla Zampatti slipped on some stairs and passed away a week later. I had bought one of her shorter jackets and know I will always be able to wear it and treasure it. It is timeless. I can imagine buying a jacket in tapestry type fabric and mixing it with one of the many colours a tapestry holds. Another timeless piece, this time from a different talented Italian designer. What a great way of looking at marriage - I’m in my 50’s and I’ve never married . I’ve been engaged twice but I never felt 100% sure so I chose to not go ahead because I want to marry once . Making those vows is a very deep commitment and I want to know that if I make them , it is with the right intent .

That’s why marriage is a sacrament in the Church. The other vocational sacrament is Holy Orders - the priests, nuns, and other religious whose vocation is to serve in an unmarried state full-time in an Order.

Hi Kylie, hello Kylie fans. I can especially relate to the frustrating story of trying to do business or start a business in Italy. Don’t get me wrong, even after 17 years of living here or possibly because of the amount of time I’ve spent here I still love Italy. Sadly though, if I were, to sum up, the life motto of many Italians it would be in the phrase: “che te ne frega” which could be summarized in its translation as, why should I care, who cares or why should I be bothered. A phrase used all the time by people, politicians, you name it. It is this mentality that keeps Italy from shining like the diamond it could be.

Glad to know that you attended Pre- Cana classes before marriage. The priest does not live an isolated life. He would not look down on the pregnant bride to be. Many young people have sex before marriage. Many who conceive do not bring baby to term. I salute the pregnant young lady for choosing life especially in Italy, a country with a low birth rate and that is rapidly losing population . I wish for that couple a successful and blessed marriage also.
