  • Saturday I just had another amazing time with Chicca’s Cooking Club when teaching live from my kitchen in Castagneto Carducci, Tuscany. We rolled up our sleeves and dove into making my scrumptious Almond Ricotta Cake Recipe. It was a blast from start to finish!
    The moment of truth arrived as we tested our egg whites: were they stiff enough? With bated breath, we inverted the bowl, and to our collective relief, the whites didn’t slide out of the bowl-a great satisfaction for many members and their culinary skills.
    Although it was an online class, Zoom allowed us to be connected, and each kitchen was alive with chatter and laughter. We mixed and measured our way to dessert heaven in less than an hour, and I gave a little demonstration on my way to decorate a cake.
    It wasn’t just about baking; it was about sharing moments, creating memories, and enjoying the simple pleasure of good food with great company.
