I'm just finishing up painting a double set of Airfix 1/72 German infantry. These guys are going to be a pleasure to paint. If I ever paint another variety of gray, it will be too soon!

For Christmas I was given the Revell Hanebu II (remarkable as it’s something I can actually use for a change AFTER 70 years 😊), which I’m looking at adding LED’s.
I have started to buy 1/72 Luftwaffe personnel for a diorama, but as seen, there’s to many duplicates in the box, which is stupid to me.
Do you think I could mix the RAF personnel kit as I’m not sure if there’s so much difference in uniforms, also possibly find other nationalities in WWII dress
I see the Zvezda Luftwaffe kits are more costly, but better modelled
I already bought a WWII Hangar (laser cut card), maybe I’ll take plenty of stills during the build (being a new challenge for me), see if an Old Dog can learn New Tricks🐶🥺🐾

The guy standing with the long tube type thing could actually be carrying a replacement cannon like they used under the nose of the HS129 and the ME410. Think would be a hard job for one man though unless he is stronger than he looks! Cannot think of anything else other possibly a rocket they used on their ground attack aircraft.Very similar to the rockets on the Hawker Typhoon used by the RAF.

at 6:40 that Luftwaffe guy with the hose looks suspiciously like the white hard plastic guy issued with the airfix Raf refuelling set kit

Managed to get a '70's issue sealed box off ebay a few years ago which I had as a kid. I know Heller have produced their own copy now though like they have with a lot of the old Airfix sets

Excellent sculpting for the era. Suggestion for the guy with the cannister: he is draining used oil from an engine.

@@TOYSOLDIERREVIEW Makes you wonder why they waited so long with these sets. Airforce personnel seems such an obvious choice if you have dozens of planes in your catalog.
