I’m not a Goose hater in any way shape or form. On the contrary, we used to play at the same clubs in CT back in 2016-2019. Yea, they’re elevated to a completely different level in terms of success, so don’t come at me with that BS. That being said, if *anyone* doesn’t think this sounds like the Phish from Vermont then you’re either fooling yourself, or your ears aren’t working properly
Umm…what part specifically? Keys are nowhere in Page’s direction…Cotter and Jeff are gelling but I can’t hear Fish at all and Mike and Trevor are not close to the same kind of bass players. Yes, Rick’s guitar has far more tonal similarities to Trey’s than it used to but the runs aren’t quite Machine Gun Trey. Great to see the Goose boys developing…and they are definitely a jam band…. But point to point comparison with Phish, especially from the early days…..I guess I need new ears.
25 minutes of pure bliss -a full stack of Pancakes I'd say. 😊 Been a phenomenal summer tour so far. Cotter has really hit the ground running - feels like he's been with us for years after just a handful of shows. He's a great fit in style and energy. Rick has been on fire too with his new rig. Endless tonal possibilities. What a band! Goooose!
Me (and my dads) second goose concert, first being the 6.18.22, my moms first time. They’re not big fans of goose and I missed everything after magic carpet ride unfortunately, but the time there getting to hear some amazing jams was phenomenal. longest pancakes performed I think I’m aware of, and it got so experimental and rhythmic and the band read the room so well. I wanted to run to the front row but security was tighter than last time but I still was in another world with pancakes! Fantastic show
This one went into another world, full of syrupy bliss from 14:30 - 22:00 and then back into the kitchen for the final serving. Wow!

Possibly my fav Goose bliss ... absolutely fantastic, and great patient build back into the Pancakes theme at the end. Not abrupt.
Around 16:05 Rick goes into such a catchy riff that makes this a banger version of Pancakes

Show was a blast and this was easily the highlight for me. Pancakes > Myst was pure magic and This Old Sea was so powerful!
