The one thing I do like most of all about the E6D: IT ALSO COMES LEFT-HANDED 😁👍! Sounds like the solid Sitka top on the one featured in that upload is still maturing (was even giving off a "sitar"-like vibe at certain parts earlier on), but it'll definitely settle down a bit after a few more years. That said, LOVE how it already handles the blues format with no problem. Might even sound better when played with a glass bottle neck slide for good measure. Well-done demo, by the way! 👏
We have never played E6D-TC, but we have the E6OM and E6OM-TC. Torrefied top makes more sensible the guitar and the bass response is more massive. It is a good question if it worth the extra upcharge in price or not, I think it depends on the player's style and requirement and the budget

Some tops om these are more...white and others are orangish.
Are the whiter tops Alpine Spruce and the orange like tops Sitka?
