13:36 - As I sort through mountains of paperwork for audits, DOT compliance, DOT physicals, insurance, meanwhile trying to stay calm when a customer says $100 is too much for a fuel surcharge... 😞 Thank you August for another great video!

My lovely wife got tired of looking for my wallet and car keys. So she bought me 'tiles' for Christmas. When she pages the tile, they will play a tune to find it. Put one on the keys and one inside of the wallet. Sure nice to be able to find them in record time. LOL

The view from the ground looking up that pine looks like a typical Dr Seuss tree! Thanks for always sharing, August. Seeing you contourt your body to place us in the perfect spot does not go unnoticed. I stopped trying to figure out some things in life....cuz some things are just warm~heartedly there ...existing for some who cherish what's shared by others. **I know...a bit too mushy feeling BUT I believe some things in life that makes you feel good/happy/content.....shouldn't get ruined by trying to make it make sense. Things like these videos that you CLEARLY love to create/ share just make me feel all kinds of great things every time I watch one. It's real, it's genuine...it really is a true feeling / connection that's offered by you to those of us who want to be connected with you. I just find it amazing, August. Your way over there and we are way over here....honestly it's as if you were in the same room with us. I just shack my head surprised everytime I hear from you in your videos. You know I told my son ( 27 yrs old now ) as he grew up....to be kind and be genuine but understand that with every person being different we will NOT like or be liked by everyone. BUT THE ONE OR TWO that get you or that you find amazing, cherish it
Cuz out of us all to find another person you can care for or bond with.....there will be just as many you will need to walk away from. Think long and hard on those you meet....ultimately your gut will tell you how to react. It's just amazing when you realize how much you like a person...no matter how near or far. August your that person for so many of us. Could you have ever imagined you would have the following you have acquired?! It's cool...
Be kind, be honest, be nice.

Something to be very cognizant of in regards to that rope length. There was a company in northern Cali (I'll refrain from saying where and which) this last year that had someone grab a shorter rope than expected to do double line system off a crane. Repelled off the rope and he's seriously injured for life. So many safety measures to keep track of in this line of work.

That was a tall tree. I never saw a tree get that tall in the wild, here in the Netherlands. Or i did not notice the forest was this tall.
Was the corkscrew the reason to get it down on the ground? Was it to much tree in that one cluster, and one had to go?
That speedline top was real smooth! Great job overall.
And i laughed my but off when you talked (and showed) about being a business owner :P
Good luck on drying those machines in in the next few years.

After being violently ripped down the trunk until my steel cord lanyard held me half way down on a Knott or say natural bump on the tree. I cut the line pulling on me and climbed down and jumped a fence into a backyard and waited for the ambulance to arrive. 4 broken ribs a broken sternum a bruised lungs. Kidneys, and a laceration on my liver which thank God healed itself. I was back at work in 2 weeks after that no bullshit. Painful recovery but I healed 100%

I just took down a pine spiral myself and funny enough it was for a childhood friends parents and so i refused money we worked out the payment as him ordering a speed line kit for the removal saved him $800-$1000 and i have a tool ive had my eye on and I have to say the speedline kit on monkey beaver website 10 pack for $275 amazing quality straps and double action rock exotica those run $20 a piece most other sets ive seen come with accesory caribiners at best
I already owned the 1.0 suspenders cant wait to order the 2.0 saddle with the upgraded suspenders its awesome having someone that uses gear create gear! My question when are the climber friendly monkey beaver spurs dropping cause id like to place my preorder asap 😂

  • @Zogg1281
    @Zogg1281 9 месяцев назад

When you first showed the Speed Line slings, I love how you put a comment about carrying that much weight without the Monkey Beaver Suspenders would be annoying. I used to be a recreational rock climber and if you think the wright of those speed line slings is annoying, you should try climbing with a full rack of slings and all the fall protection stuff that rock climbers carry. Yeah, our sit harnesses are a lot lighter.... the super lightweight harnesses are like climbing with a harness made from dental floss and they REALLY cut into you with that much kit hanging from them 😂

I had a tree today that had a huge limb over a barn that I rigged from above and the way I rigged it (with three points of contact) with a throw line at the tip pulled in the favorable direction from the ground... anyway, I looked at it before the cut and though if August walked up right now, he'd laugh his buns off. It was successful but didn't look as smooth as you gents rigging. Thanks for the vid!

"I felt so cool at that moment, right before I fell"
God was like, "this one is a little thick, I better illustrate the biblical proverb to him in the most direct way possible. But don't worry he's gonna be OK. I have a RUclips ministry lined up for him in a few years."
My grandma always used to say, "God protects fools and cripples, and I ain't limping." 🙂
