This route has certainly changed a lot since the last time I traveled on the route on Dadar-Chennai Express. The entire stretch from Renigunta to Pune, ALCO’s reigned supreme. The sound of twin ALCO’s chugging & honking their way out of Gooty in the early morning was a nostalgic wake-up call. Now it looks like loco change happens in Guntakal. So that wake up call will be missed. But it’s progress in terms of lower emissions for transportation needs. Back when my dad traveled as a kid, he said there used to be steam trains on the route as well. BTW, nice WAM-4 livery @48:19. I hope they stick around as shunters instead of being scrapped.

Are there any signs of complete electrification in chennai-mumbai route and introduction of superfast trains between the two metros? With the available trains, It almost takes a day to complete the journey:( Duronto, Humsafar or any other superfast is must between the route with limited halts🙁
The Kevadia Superfast and Ahmedabad Humsafar have limited halts. With the sections cleared for operations upto 130 kmph, it is only a matter of time until trains start doing 130 kmph from Chennai to Wadi. Electrification is almost done with less than 40 kms pending, just North of Solapur. :) Hopefully, in a few months time, we can see a crack superfast train that does Chennai Pune in 14 hrs.
I think the down line from pune to guntakal is not fully electrified, whereas the line used by trains to pune from guntakal is fully electrified. As we can notice MAS-LTT AND Udyan with WAP-7s :)
Idk where you get such amazing ideas from. :) MAS LTT and Udyan get a diesel loco from Wadi to Pune / Daund. The electric is not detached. You can see it on CBE LTT as the KDCY SF enters Wadi Jn.
What's the point of being a chatterbox going bak bak bak when I can rather give a natural feel of travelling :) I have talked in some of my older videos but I don't find the need to. There are many vloggers who can talk through 20 mins of their videos. I am more of someone who can show. Cheers :)
