I wear breechcloths like US mountain men learned from indigenous tribes here. I don't pretend to be native like many Europeans do. Wearing a breechcloth is easier for me because I have bad knees. I'd love to have a bahag...but the one Philippine company can't sell to me in US. Beautiful cloth tied much like Japanese fundoshi. While thousands of years ago my ancestors probably wore leather loincloths...but all of that has gone in favor of modern and full covering of men's bodies. You are lucky to be able to wear the clothing of your people without judgment...though I see you are wearing western cloths. Thank you for this video.
I tend to be very much into the outdoors, and wearing a loincloth while camping is comfortable, practical, easy to put on and take off, etc. Because of this I have had an interest in other cultures, and the loincloths and fundoshis that they wear or wore. I wondered how this was put on, and I'm glad you made a video showing how it's done. I take it the fabric is a soft woven cotton. That would be quite comfortable. And, it looks good on you as well.
Very cool👍 Extremely beautiful garments. I’m wondering for what these would have been used for. It’s look like for an important occasion . Very nice to see the culture kept alive.
I like it fit you well, the hat with the feathers I would pass on that, but that's your culture and I deeply respect it...but it really does fits you well.
