She’s a Shiba Inu. If not 100%, maybe 3/4. Smart, independent little dogs. That couple is just perfect for her, too! The Shibas I’ve known seem to prefer adult company. I think kids - especially young ones - can be too raucous, grabby, & unpredictable. There are breeds who are great with kids, just not sure the Shiba Inu is one of them.

It struck me too. Dogs are so trusting, and just want to love, and be loved. They are not on this earth to suffer. They deserve the best homes possible.
No animals should suffer, not even the animals we rear for our food.
I eat meat, but I hate the thought of any animal suffering.

And since the world is overpopulated, and there are so many abandoned animals, it's good to starting trading for "human parents."
Dogs are honorary humans.
Every dog owner should be this way, but sadly some people treat their dog(s) poorly.
You should love your dog like it's your own child, but you should treat it like a dog. Dogs are not humans, and humanizing them only harms them. They have a different type of social structure and behaviors. Imposing human behaviors on them is bad for the dog.
These animal trader's need to be stopped permanently, I've literally wept through every story I've watched. Love, blessings and light to all out there who try so hard to save animals and who give home's.
How sick some in the human race are having no heart's, no love nor compassion for animals.
This is why I wish I was filthy filthy rich and could help our suffering animals. 💖

The vegan movement is one of the fastest growing social justice movements ever.
As soon as you understand, that you can live happy and healthy without those products and then realize what horrors are going on everywhere in the name of food, clothing, entertainment, testing, etc - this thought can hardly be undone. The blinders are off, the pill is swallowed, no way back on that knowledge :).

B M I feel so sorry for shop dogs. It isn't their fault they end up in shops. They are so badly stigmatized; all animals deserve a chance to have a happy home.

We get that, but shop dogs are living the life! They have an infinite food supply, good beds and are having a good life basically. I think B M was just trying to say that dogs like these should be adopted because they are like bing in fear and didnt have great conditions. Just like for instance, say you were on a road and two people were sitting on the side of the road asking for some money. The first one was wearing expensive clothes, has everything they need. The second one had tattered clothes and was malnutritioned. Which one would you donate to?
Bob The Builder Except that is a false narrative. In this case, both are dogs, and the key is are their needs being met, and who do you resonate with? I give money to dogs that I would not or could not adopt. I adopt pets from the pound. I also have adopted AKC registered dogs from registered breeders where the mother and father are on site, for because I believe in preserving the history of the breed, and ensuring that these dogs are able to live a life true to their nature, what they were bred for. A lot of people who get pound dogs have no clue what the dogs nature is and so they can’t help the dog in that way, and I think that is too bad. Herding dogs, for example, are the happiest when they are allowed to herd other animals. Not all dogs are the same, nor do they have same interests or do the same things make them happy. Learning about dog breeds is essential to learning about dogs and making them fulfilled and happy.
Bob The Builder what do u mean? All are bred either by backyard breeders or puppy mills unless they team up with a shelter and usually live in a tiny glass cage with little interaction.
Or buying them at the market to eat for lunch. Seriously, stop eating dogs. Just stop.
Kong has such a bright, intelligent look on her face. The little 'mask' on her snout is cute too. Since she lives in New Jersey is she now 'connected' ? LOL... Glad she's getting a happy life.

Really happy for you, just remember this breed loves to run. Walks won't cut it, they were made to run. An obstacle course, a really good run. Enjoy and I'm really happy for you. She's a beautiful pup that seems very eager to please.

That is one of mans and womans best friends right there and not food!!! The atrocities being perpetrated against animals in Korea and other Asian countries are simply unfathomable!!! Beautiful dog, inside and out! Dogs are for humankind and humankind are for dogs. Those who treat dogs like objects to be abused, used, and discarded are sub-human. Period!!!!!!!!!!!! They are beings, souls with the ability to form bonds and serve our higher good. Therefore, no matter the country or culture ALL dogs need to be protected by laws and shelter. No dog should be left to the streets or euthanized because they don't have a home any more than a child!

I love the fact they save the animals from creulty, but western countries do the exact same thing to Chickens, pigs etc.
Anonymous Buyer Too many people on these comment pages try to push the idea that all animals are alike. They’re not. Dogs are quite different from chickens. Someone here might do a video where they think they have “relationship” with a chicken, but it’s just not the same as a dog’s relationship with humans, it’s just not. So eating chickens is quite different from eating dogs.

But you probably consume meat, right? I've never understood people who have favouritism over particular animals, how is this any different from a slaughter house that gasses and slits the throats of thousand of pigs, chickens and cows etc.
If you do eat meat, it's incredibly hypocritical to feel sorry for these dogs but not other animals.

Dogs live in the moment. What a beautiful dog! You are allowing her to be on your leather couch which tells her that she is part of the family. When we got our first dog we went out and bought all the things we things we thought we would need, including a doggy bed. We got her home and she followed us into the bedroom where I put her bed at the base of our bed. Well, she jumped up on our bed, looked down at the doggy bed, then looked at us as if asking if that was where we were sleeping. The doggy bed went back the next day.

Such awesome people. Idk how people have the strength to go to places where dogs are treated so horribly especially areas of the dog meat trade. My extreme love for dogs holds me back from taking part in those efforts because I just can't handle seeing them in pain. I'm so glad there are those who are strong and can face that in the effort to make change and rescue those animals.

This one reminds me of this game that I have been recently playing Far Cry: New Dawn. There’s this mission called “man eat dog world” where you head into this place called the Meatfort where these apocalyptic goons are making meals outta these doggos. You find the goodest boy of them all called Timber and rescue him from the butcher’s block, who later becomes your scout dog.
I’m a grown a$$ man but hearing those puppies whine and cry, and even finding a dead one all opened up from the stomach made me breakdown. I know it’s just a game but that was way too much for me to handle.
