@@oaklandexcelsior7 definitely one of the spookiest stations I’ve visited. The stations where I live are quiet rural halts, but this was something else.
The station used to be part of London Underground, built in the early 1900’s, it’s a proper deep level station. It transferred to British Rail in the 1970’s, it was built to fit mainline trains from the start and is now more of a commuter railway. This station is one of the quietist in London.

These lifts are very characterful and slightly spooky. You can always hear them running when its silent on the platform.
