"I am the voice of all these kids that think things but never say em." See now that is very true. Every time I listen to NF's music I always wonder how he puts what I want to say but won't say into words. It's so insane how he puts all the hurt some people (as well as himself) feel into a song. Mad respect.
"listen to intro 3 trying to kill my fear, they'll get that in a minute, we about to shatter the critics." He knows that even while other people won't get what he's talking about in some of his songs, his fans know exactly what he's on about, knowing that even while people will criticize him, his fans have his back and will tell them exactly what he's all about. God I love him.
Dragonmage one more thing if you want to truly understand NF you’ll want to listen to Mansion he explains a lot in that song and it’s connected to many songs especially Intro 3
First time hearing this, thought it was a diss, as I listened to more songs (and read the comments) I realized this ain't no diss, and that's why I love NF
"This is for the kids feelin' like they live at the bottom and everyday of there lives feel like its darker than halloween" This is by far the most real part of this song
When he said "Its not cuz I'm a 'Rap God' I don't think it was a diss. I think thats just him saying he's sick of people comparing him to Eminem. I actually watched an interview that he had and he said Eminem was a huge inspiration for him. People compare them all the time... But I don't think their levels could ever match. NF is just too real for anyone to compete with. I personally think he's better.
i totally feel nf whenever i feel depressed or angry i just come and just let all my emotion out while i rap it feels like you are the only one that is there in that moment its like you get lost in the music and you never wanna find your way back out
Honestly he says that if he isn’t emotional then people tell him he isn’t passionate. As long as he loves it the passion shows it doesn’t have to be the same if he feels different he should make it different. I’m always gunna be a fan this music helps me through so much.
For those of you who don't understand, NF is a real person with real emotions and feelings and he expresses those emotions through what he is great and successful at which is singing and rapping into that mic and showing everyone that he isn't for the fame and he isn't for the glory. He is here to show us all that he is a real artist and doesn't fake what he writes and expresses.

“Wondering if imma always feel the way that I feel or maybe one day I could learn to be happy” I finally learned how to be happy. It took 10 years but I did it. I hope everyone in this comment section can also learn to be happy
One thing I admire about NF is the raw emotion you can feel in each and every one of his songs. From certain personal experiences I can relate to his music on a mental and physical level. On another note, I really do wish people would stop seeing this as a diss at Eminem and quit comparing the two. Sure, they have similar music. But that doesn’t make them the same. Al in all, I love both equally, but it isn’t fair to compare.
NF doesnt waste his time on dissing other ppl... he does his own thing he is the voice for so many ppl with mental illness including myself... Mum drinks every night now i just stay out the way i always say to myself that i got my mum in the day but at night its a stranger... a stranger who puts me through alot with verbal harrassment and i got no friends to turn too as i dont want to listen to all the high school petty drama im 19 and they still at the same shit... Thats why i turn to NF as he is real and allows everyone to express there stories and there pain and lets them know they aint alone... NF is my savour
"yeah, you aint alone out there. look around you we got a lot of fans in here. couple hundred thousand that what we did last year." You are never alone in life. even if you dont have anyone in person to be there for you, just talk to some of the other NF fans. we know what were all going through and we know that we need help sometimes. just be there for everyone you can be in your life and they will return the favour if you give them the chance.
I love the song "How Could You Leave Us". Because when I was younger all my mom did was leave me over and over again. She overdosed many times. She was always drunk and high. My past has scared me. whenever I think of her all I feel is pain.

The Eminem ‘diss’ isn’t really a diss tho. He’s just saying that people compare him to rap god due to his fast rapping. So stop saying that ‘oH eMiNeM gOt DiSsEd’
NF talks about real issues in his music and he gets praised for it. Eminem talks about real issues in his music and the whole industries says he lost his ability to write. Eminem made a mark on the rap game by his ability to have the same sentence mean multiple things transitioning from one lyrics to the next in a fashion that hasn't been seen before and it blew up. That is part of the reason why he hates mumble rappers so much is because there are no meaning behind the lyrics, mumble rappers don't use rap as an art form, but as a way to get rich fast. My personal opinion would be that a prime Eminem could never be matched by NF . To the day my opinion is that Em can not be compared to NF . His lyrical ability and rhyming is far ahead of NFs. Overall I think Eminem is heaps beyond NF BUT I think NF is clearly the next best thing and he might relate a little more than Eminem with the overall fanbase.

I'm dedicated, the definition of dedication
Wrote this whole record while I was levitating
Sittin' in my room with the pen and paper, I'm innovative
They've been afraid of me since I was a second grader
I'm the kid on the playground mama told you to never play with
There's levels of music-and I'm in the elevator
Going up to the top floor, look how we elevated
What, you don't know the brand by now? You better get educated
Take both of my arms, rip 'em out the sockets and separate 'em
Forgive me, yeah, I know I get animated
Don't matter, I still write a better record than yours without a hesitation
Never been more motivated
Just look at all the minds I have opened and penetrated
See, I am the voice of all these kids that think things, but never say 'em
That's why they come to my shows wearing the NF hoodies
And hats low like we're carrying weapons, ah!
Put the controllers away, it's game over
I promise I'm way colder
The fans keep saying that they're hungry for new music
Well that's pretty convenient 'cause I just made a plate for 'em
And now I'm hearing none of y'all are saying
I just sit at the keys feeling the music
Got me thinking I'm Beethoven
The game needs a makeover
If you've been waiting, the wait's over
You ain't notice, y'all about to witness a takeover, I'm home!
Yeah, they waiting on me to match the
Emotion that I had in the last one
What if I don't, they gon' tell me that I'm losing my passion?
If I do, am I repeating my actions?
Yeah, look, "How Could You Leave Us" is massive
There ain't nothing I can write that'll match that
My biggest fear writing this record wasn't putting out trash
It was disappointing myself and the fanbase
Now I want you to picture me
I'm in a hotel rapping, crying on the floor of the bathroom
Staring in the mirror, my room, hands shaking
Playing "How Could You Leave Us" through the speakers on my iPhone
Tryna to figure out if I'ma always feel the way that I feel
Or maybe someday I can learn to be happy
Or maybe I can't be, 'cause if the music ain't emotional enough
Are they gon' call me a has-been?
Pain's always been the root of my music
If I cut it off, how am I supposed to keep growing
If I let it go, won't my whole career be in ruins?
That's when I realized this whole conversation is stupid
I never cared to impress people that don't even know me
I just write what I feel, somehow it started a movement
Trying to enjoy a career, but I don't know how to do it
When I spend all of time my being afraid I'ma lose it!
But, then I figured out the reason they follow me
The reason why these fans surrounding me
It's not 'cause I'm a "Rap God"
I don't need you people to bow to me
All they ever did was doubt on me, now everyone's proud of me
Acknowledge me or not, you ain't ignoring the following
I'm just teaching 'em something they couldn't learn in they colleges
This is for the kids feeling like they live at the bottom
And every day of they lives, feels like it's darker than Halloween!
Yeah, you ain't alone out there, look around you
We got a lot of fans in here
Couple hundred thousand, that's what we did last year
Listen to Intro 3, trying to kill my fear
They'll get that in a minute
We about to shatter the critics
I am a savage, admit it
A lot of baggage I live in
That's why the passion is different
Really don't care if they get it
We're only three records in it and this is just the beginning

2:15 Eminem: I'm beginning to feel like a rap God
Nf: Well, I do it not because of the name but passion.
And right now I am actually exhausted.
thank you 🍕
Ghoosebumps !!!!
I wish I could go to one of his concerts OR wear one of his hoodies, like that would never happen
Not gonna lie but I cried halfway through and I don't even know why
say man, your awesome!
love these lyrics
0:48 Love Nate so much
Best song ever
I love NFs music it is my favorite but the beginning of this song sounds like something from a super hero movie like flash
Eminem is the greatest rapper of our time and NF is definitely on his way as well, they both never disappoint and they are both great in my eyes and both are 🖤 heart🖤 felt 🖤
Your just Eminem fan
@@YoKrab First let me correct you on a few things.... it"s ( you"re ) just and Eminem fan and you"re wrong! It"s true i have been and Eminem fan longer but i'm as well a NF fan too....

@@janinedickerson732 It is * it's * it is not it"s and also it is not you"re it is you're, also it is I'm with a capital I. I don't mean to be that person, but you were acting like you were smart by being that person.
*1:23* Let you down be like
*"Am I A Joke To You?"*
😂
Bison haha 😂 you just made my day 😂
Nah let you down ain't even close being one of his best song's
@@cadence6167 it got more success because he sang it with a more popular musician
Someday you will be happy dear nf
you ever relate to NF's music?
All the time, I'm only 15 but I have been listening to him since 2017 and I still have not lost interest in his music
✝️💪
This song goes hard fuckin pure fire
He sounds like he's lowkey scared in this song. You can hear his anxiety, the thinking.
We love you
