DLP Projector - Temp Shut down Solutions.

DLP projector : Solution to a Temperature warning and shut down.
Received a Projector that was shutting off after about 10/15 minutes.
Fault seems to be in the cooling section, as we need to identify whether it was the main axial fan or the blower centrifugal cooling fan to the lamp.
Removed the top cover of the projector carefully after detaching the control panel flexible strip wiring. On checking found that the centrifugal fan was not working properly as a 12 volt DC supply was connected externally to the fan. On moving the mount, it was powering up and the noise reduced. Found there was a shift in the mounting probably due to the constant heat that was incident on the fan mount. Removed and screws of the mount and tightened them once again as the fan was moved forward. The supply was kept on to check the flow and the noise reduced considerably.
Tested the axial fan also with the 12 volt supply and it was working fine. Allowed them to work for some time before removing the lamp and checking for the air flow.
Reset the lamp back after cleaning the lens and closed the projector.
On test the projector worked much silently and the fault was rectified.
