Man, it's a hard call between whether I love death metal or doom metal more, but bands like you definitely do tip the scales in favor of doom. There's just something so... visceral about the slow, heavy riffs of doom that almost nothing else compares to.

Keep this shit up! I love that you have a classic sound but it's much more heavy and doom-y - yet you manage to keep a solid blend of atmospheric feel, too. The song structure was impressive, for the fact that I didn't know what was going to come next. A lot of songs that sound similar to this one, are predictable and often stay the same pace throughout the whole song- which equals boring. Not always but quite often.

Classic doom sound of Paradise Lost and MDB with maybe a little Tristania thrown in. Usually I just default to the older bands but I'm very impressed with this.

My Dying Bride are a massive influence to us. One of, if not THE greatest Doom Metal bands of all time. A favorite of us all.

My Dying Bride has been my top Death-Doom band since they put out _"Symphonaire Infernus et Spera Empyrium"_ all those years ago. So great to see young bands still being influenced by them! @@orpheanpassage I'm already very familiar with Constellatia/Crow Black Sky/Wildernessking, but if anyone here isn't familiar with those bands they should definitely check them.
Some of the best South African metal bands. Another really really good SA band is the one-man Blackened Doom/Post-Metal band Ophiuchi (currently based in the Netherlands but from SA originally).
