First of all, you can't sue someone for using a move, because it does not have copyright, she doesn't even own the move. Second, Hoyoverse can sue the girl because she used a leak in her video. It's amazing how we have to explain this in 2024.
Me trying to sound smart IJBOL let hoyo and the girl handle the problems on their owns stop trying to be involved in someone business Can't believe I have to explain this in 2024
she wasn’t suing for the move but specifically them copying her exact body movements which was proven to be 95% exact minus the early finish compared to the original be mad hoyo caved in
If you look closely, the new animation has more fluidity in its movements, they don't look as rigid as in the first version, the tail, ears and fingers also give it more rhythm in the new animation.
They did it so that that one girl won't sue lmao Edit: Everyone thinks I'm lacking information or smt. I know she doesn't own the dance (which she said herself) but she still said she would sue if they don't change it because they copied her hand movements and that's what I'm talking about 💀 And literally a lot of the other comments are also talking about the girl who wants to sue
So after seeing it for a few times the new one does look pretty nice. It's a bit more fluid I think, and there's a lot more motion in her outfit and tail. The one thing I'd criticise is that in the old one it looks a lot smoother and natural when she stops the spin, but maybe that's just the angle. I think the new one is better overall, but I'm just so used to the old one after seeing it so many times already, so that's probably the reason I was a bit disappointed at first
Hoyo didn’t change it because of the law suit, it’s because during testing animators will copy existing moves to a 1:1 ratio trying to get the general idea and then add their own touches or cut out some parts
Also is it just me or is the idea of suing a multimillion company rlly stupid? Especially if it’s based off a leak, the way I see it the woman could have handled it a lot better by doing a reaction video instead of trying to sue Hoyo because of an unofficial leak and the moves weren’t even original either 😭 At the very least before suing someone she could have at least done some research
So, for others who dont know, that one girl who was shown to do the same move as Xilonen, saw how popular it got, and how the edit someone made looks very similar to her, so in her little mind, she didn't think of speaking to a lawyer before hand and thought it would be a good idea to sue hoyo in 80 countries. If she does proceed with it, it will only get her in several legal and financial problems. Because she said right at the start of her own video, that she doesn't own the move, so she basically lost the trail before it even started.
You tube keeps getting rid of my comment and replacing it with the two emojis i used, so i will try and sum this up. She didn't make the dance nor does she own it, Genshin however did copy her every move, but that does not mean that they motion tracked her or that they would even be able to get sued. This original commenter is very rude for calling her dumb, Cuz she's not. Not everyone can afford to learn "law" (which you don't even understand yourself) and no one wants to be used and not credited/paid. she might have sped up the video at the end to match up with the spin, but the rest of the dance hoyo directly copied. either through motion capture, or hand 3D-Animation. and to the person calling me dumb using curs words in their comment and just hating me for no reason, you should find something better to live for, I hope the best for you! also thank you to: JustRigelfr, moon-ww6qt and $0M€ŤHīŃĞ, even though $0M€ŤHīŃĞ was... yeah. but still thank you all for the help.
@@panickingacrobat7138I doubt they motion tracked her movements, + in court there’d be little evidence to back it up except for the idle animation, hoyo most likely changed it to stop further dramas because there has been ALOT surrounding natlan. (An artist got sent death threats for making an art that had samoan culture wrong if I recall) so it’s pretty understandable they don’t want more dramas or controversy.

The old one looks better because she looks like she's doing modern skate dancing. But in a fantasy world with no skates, it makes sense she isn't a professional skater while being the only skater in the world
The fact that people were talking about this move being stolen from some video is just madness. If you wear skates and do a spin and skate backwards, this is just how you move, with rhythm. Is it stealing to just walk down the street with a bounce in your step? Some people are so completely out of their minds. And we know who these people are.
Honestly the new one feels so wrong now because dancers put their hand near their hair to put their hand/long hair side and now that she's not doing that I'm like Your done. Also because putting your hand to your side near your torso is to prevent falling or hitting someone/something.
According to genshin twitter community.. I should sue hoyoverse for being alive and able to move.. Since hoyoverse characters copying my breathing, walking, and being existed
she wasn’t suing for the move but specifically them copying her exact body movements which was proven to be 95% exact minus the early finish compared to the original be mad hoyo caved in
for people that don't know: it's been recently surfaced that Xilonen's idle is a "copy" of a dance skater Oumi Janta posted. thing is; it's a beginner dance in the skating community since the 70's, when Janta found this out she made a response saying that if Hoyo didn't change it she'll pursue legal action, even though she doesn't own the dance herself (which she even says in her response) but just like another commenter said Hoyo basically traces over Janta's body for the dance, as although the video of Janta dancing was cut and sped up/slowed down the body placements on Xilonen were the same. So she could pursue legal for the tracing but the dance itself she couldn't as that's public domain.
They didn't copy shit lmao, it's a basic move the people just wanted the character to be black so they found a black girl that does the dance and said that's her 🤡🤡🤡
That's not how it works. To begin with, their movements aren't even the same. Once they have to be edited to almost match, they're completely different. Regarding body tracking, that doesn't apply either. You can't make a video from one angle imitate all the details of the body in motion. Also, their video doesn't give them any rights to body tracing because they didn't record it. They only appear doing things. They don't have any values with which to demonstrate and compare the alleged theft. I hope the reason for the change is different
it wasnt "surfaced" . its called random nobody who saw a similar dance thought she was traced and wanted to cry wolf and claim royalties over moves that werent even hers. she didnt even know this damn game existed
The core problem with the old one is body-tracing . While the move and the vid are public domain by default , the only property left was her own body virtualized then traced . That is a privacy violation according to international law . It's a grey area but i think i sum it quite well . But yeah i like the old one , and this is why you don't show your body , your property the most sacred one to the net .
the fact that it takes a long time to animate a dance movement it was prob just a placeholder for them to do the actual og animation, they couldnt have animated a new one this fast
@@an_polthe dance wasnt even hers to begin with, its legit one of THE MOST COMMON moves skaters use when they wanna do a little dance, like seriously most ppl who skate do this
There wasn't even any body tracing. The dance is a really common roller skate dance that the woman didn't own and the body movements doesn't even resemble the video that much
Correct me if I'm wrong...but does that popular move involve even the same hand movements as the tiktoker or just the leg movements alone is the same ?...cuz hoyo just changed the hand movements a bit and that's it

Old one doesn't really suit her personality. Probably why MHY changed it.
First of all, you can't sue someone for using a move, because it does not have copyright, she doesn't even own the move. Second, Hoyoverse can sue the girl because she used a leak in her video. It's amazing how we have to explain this in 2024.

I like the Old version ending turn. It looks sophisticated and swag.

I like both versions! I love the spinning and can imagine it being lots of fun!
Hoyo didn’t change it because of the law suit, it’s because during testing animators will copy existing moves to a 1:1 ratio trying to get the general idea and then add their own touches or cut out some parts
Also is it just me or is the idea of suing a multimillion company rlly stupid? Especially if it’s based off a leak, the way I see it the woman could have handled it a lot better by doing a reaction video instead of trying to sue Hoyo because of an unofficial leak and the moves weren’t even original either 😭 At the very least before suing someone she could have at least done some research
the old one was so cute, i loved the end part especially
People forget that the leaks are still “leaks” it isn’t official and isn’t even out of public use. Literally placeholders and testings.
Old one is much more flowy, they should've kept it! Besides she can't sue hoyo cuz the moves aren't hers
Because she said right at the start of her own video, that she doesn't own the move, so she basically lost the trail before it even started.
it's from a movie before the video

The old one looks more captivating tho ☹️
Also because putting your hand to your side near your torso is to prevent falling or hitting someone/something.

for people that don't know:
it's been recently surfaced that Xilonen's idle is a "copy" of a dance skater Oumi Janta posted. thing is; it's a beginner dance in the skating community since the 70's, when Janta found this out she made a response saying that if Hoyo didn't change it she'll pursue legal action, even though she doesn't own the dance herself (which she even says in her response) but just like another commenter said Hoyo basically traces over Janta's body for the dance, as although the video of Janta dancing was cut and sped up/slowed down the body placements on Xilonen were the same.
☠️if she sue mihoyo that the biggest mistake she say she doesn't own the move so what the point here 🐧
it wasnt "surfaced" . its called random nobody who saw a similar dance thought she was traced and wanted to cry wolf and claim royalties over moves that werent even hers. she didnt even know this damn game existed
The og onw was actually the same as a tiktokers ao tjey probably changed it to avoid legal trouble
