When I follow these steps I don't see any SAM devices in the MCC list. I have the X32 compiler installed on my computer. Any help would be appreciated

SAM devices can be programmed using MPLAB X IDE

Hi there, thanks for reaching out with your question. Please ensure all MCC plugins and content are up to date to see SAM devices. This can be due to outdated MCC Harmony documents or incomplete installations. Making sure that all necessary plugins and content are up to date is crucial. Please contact Microchip.com/CSS if the issues persists. Thank you!

what a disaster to work in this environment what happened to a plain old offline file for sources and libraries why so much complexity and frustration isn't firmware development hard enough so you decided to make it worse?

Hi there, thanks for your comment. We understand your frustration with the setup complexity. The shift towards tools like MPLAB Harmony V3 and MCC, with online repositories and content managers, aims to streamline development by integrating updates and supporting a wide range of devices. However, this can indeed introduce a learning curve and challenges. Your feedback is valuable, and we'll share it with the team to help improve the user experience. Thank you!
