The host is very calm and sweet and Pi always handles interviews well. The mainstream kind of hate is really new to this band indeed and it gets sillier comment to comment. I would never had thought Blood and Glitter would be accused for referring to violence, but here we are. And now the second song of the album, "Leave your hate in the comments" seems way more relevant. I love the band and how versatile it is and I know its story inside out. Even so, I did find out 3 things I wasn't aware of. One, about Pi's and Chris' first meeting, 2 Pi's fanfact, and 3, that they had sent another song last year for Eurovision. Seirously, which song from Judas would be Eurovision friendly, guys? I am so curious! Which was it??? I knew Chris was in a band playing cello, but did they have their own entry??? If anyone that knows reads this comment, please enlighten me!
They couldn't have sent a song from Judas, because the album was released in June 2021 and was already "too old" for Eurovision 2022. I think some of the Blood and Glitter songs were already finished by late 2021, and some people have been saying that it was One Last Song the one they sent, but I haven't seen any sources.
@@stargazer3149 Fair point, I don't really know how the system works for Eurovision to be honest. One last song would be an amazing entry actually. But without valid sources, it's just a guess, I agree. Thank you for taking the time to read and answer my comment ♥✨
@@stargazer3149 I might be wrong but I THINK people get things confused because I've heard Chris say in an interview that with THIS year it was between Blood and Glitter and One Last Song and they ended up sending Blood and Glitter. No idea which song they applied with last year.
@@CineShinya Eurovision Song Contest actually starts in September of the previous year. This is because only songs that have been released since 09/01 after the last ESC can be registered.* This is strictly controlled by the EBU. Then countries countries also begin to look for their interpreters. The process of selecting songs and performers is a matter for the countries. There are a wide variety of methods: ● Internal song and/or artist selection, ● combination of internally selected artists and audience voting on the song, ● public preliminary decisions with or without juries, national and/or international juries, ● audience voting according to age groups, online, app voting, ● large traditional festivals such as in Albania, Italy, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, which may last for weeks or ● preliminary decisions lasting only one evening. All in all this procere lasts from December to mid-March. Then there's a deadline on which songs and artists must be registered with the EU. This phase is so interesting because it shows how the countries want to present themselves. * All songs released from 09/01 (and fulfilling the other requirements, i.e. a maximum length of around three minutes) could theoretically take part in the Eurovision Song Contest.
lord of the lost blood and glitter esc 12 points germany 🤘
Splendid interview. Lord of the Lost are my #1 this year!
Such a cool guy 🤩 nice interview, hope Germany does well this year! 🤞
Great interview, I hope many people will watch it and the ESC audience stops hating a band that is probably too good for Eurovision 😊
Thank you for this interview!
I hope you guys don't forget Amsterdam, because we go for you guys🙂😉 Love the interview! 12 points from the netherlands

@@lisafinch5823 Last year they applied with One last song, because it was the only one that was completely ready back then
