I loved the new arena, though I did find some bugs that you may want to address. The first is that for whatever reason the door leading to Gluttony wouldn’t open even after I grabbed the checkpoint. The second is that if you drop down from the Violence arena to the Heresy exit, the second half of the arena will be in the 7-1 aesthetics instead of the 7-3 aesthetics. Other than those issues, it was a great level.
well you're the second person ever to have the gluttony door problem I guess, originally it was a bug where it would trigger secrets and such, and when you collected the secrets the door would break. I removed that feature from the doors and added it to separate triggers, squashing the bug for everyone except you and another angry commenter. Sorry but you're on your own with this bug, might be related to something that you somehow disabled and nobody else did
@@MEGACHEB For what its worth, I also got the bug too. I only collected the secret in Mini-Lust and can't undo picking it up so I don't know if that's what caused it. Had to skip gluttony and played through the rest of it and it's a great level, Heresy & Violence were amazing.

You know what I will disable all my other mods (which is masquerade divinity and carcass) and see if it works, will report back. (PS. I collected the limbo secret when I played the update also, I had also collected the lust secret before the update and it worked fine.)

Update: uninstalling and reinstalling the level didn't work nor did using a deferent save. will continue my work. Update: I tried Three things the first one was uninstalling all other levels expect for mini hell, it didn't work. The next one was uninstalling and reinstalling the level loader, that also didn't work and the last thing I tried was playing the level as Gabriel and that also didn't work, it was basically the same as playing on a deferent save so I don't know why I expected it to work but it was worth a try, I guess. Update: I GOT IT TO WORK, what I did was reset all progress I made on the level and didn't pick up the limbo nor lust secret and it worked, I honestly should have tried this first, but we made it. I played through the level earlier today and it was amazing, the violence section was really fun to go through! If I may add a little bit of criticism here, the jump transition from heresy to violence should close after you enter the violence section, I fell back down several times because It stayed open. Other than that it was honestly incredible.
Layering extra instruments over the OST was a great choice! Anyone familiar enough with the game will know the music by heart, but by adding more instead of fully remixing you're letting the player feel a sense of strong familiarity while experiencing something new. I think that captures the spirit of the level better than a remix would. You're doing what Hakita did and adding a more to keep it interesting even to longtime fans, what a perfect microcosm of the level overall!
Agh, if only bosses like COKM, Leviathan or Earthmover got in, that would be insane. It's a damn shame that doesn't really seem to be possible in current ULTRAKILL, but god if it was. Incredible level though, even if it isn't very "mini".

There's another comment chain about this, about an hour ago someone figured it out and edited their comment with more info. I think Cheb gave up on fixing the bug, it has something to do with a glitch involving some of the secrets earlier in the level.
the level is awesome but it’s impossible to see when violence goes dark and the skull didn’t open when i killed everything in violence, worst bit being that run would’ve been a p rank. also a soldier got stuck in the floor in gluttony which made me have to restart cause the checkpoint activates multiple times making it impossible to just restart gluttony
Back when I was making the Wrath I planned for the ferryman encounter to be the ship pulling up like you described and the ferryman jumping off whilst it was moving, buuuutttt that was a little too complex for how much experience I had back then. Maybe I'll remaster the ferryman entrance in the future
Did you fix the ferryman ending himself if you run away to another island or not? Also will there be an option to listen to the original music instead of the remixed ones?
The ferryman killing himself would require the place that you fight him to not be on any rocks and away from any water, and I'm not making an arena for that so just take it as a speedrun tactic :)
This was really enjoyable until violence got dark. Please up the brightness up in the red sky part, it was so dark that I couldn't even see my way around. Please make it brighter, like about as bright as when the red lightning strikes in that part. I couldn't even beat the level because of how dark it is, I had to turn my gamma brightness up almost all the way. Other than that slight problem, a fantastic mod, you worked really hard.
