Tips on restarting:
-You need 50 flowers at max
-If you want to boost your rating you need two bridges and two inclines
-dont sell your weeds, turn them into hay beds and spread them everywhere
-get 8 villagers
-Buy every item you can and place it down
-dont forget to always grind for bells using money trees or selling trash/old fossils

What a shit advice 💩💩💩💩
I have successfully gotten 3 stars like 15 times (I restart WAY too much) and have never had to use 2 bridges and two inclines. I have only ever installed one extra bridge, usually the cheapest one. Save those bells for items, buying flowers, upgrading your storage, etc! Though I will say if you have the money that early, it doesn't necessarily hurt you 🤷🏻♀️

you get a jock and a sisterly when you start, then comes the 3 plots with lazy, normal and peppy. Campsite is always a smug and after that the first two autofils will always be a cranky and a snooty. Then it will take some days for the last plots to autofil, so it is quicker to just hunt after your move-in line is done :)
angry coconuts simply changed the way i play animal crossing… now i just see couples and intrigue and tea and drama each time i play the game. it’s so much fun that way 😂
i know this video is a year ago but you not having autofilled plots is so relatable 😭 on my island i had an empty plot that never autofilled for a YEAR, none of them fill unless i move one in myself and im not getting campsite villagers at all anymore.. i don’t know what i did lmao
I was there when we all unanimously decided to name this island Nooktits. Democracy really is so powerful
19:58 they did a similar thing with Splatoon where everytime you load up the game they have "news" but you can just minimize it to a small corner on your screen and reopen it anytime you'd like, it doesn't take space and you can still read the things they're saying while you have it closed. Since the animal crossing team is the same as the splatoon one it's highly likely that they could do something like that

this game was released before splatoon 3 did - the first 2 games have unskippable newscasts
Auto fill tends to happen more frequently if you have visited or others have visited your island. If you havent done that, the plot stays open for a couple days giving you more time to hunt

plots are only guaranteed to autofill immediately if you visit other islands. there's no one in the move in queue so the game just randomly generates villagers instead
so gruff is my birthday twin and was also on my first ever acnl file when i was little, so i have a soft spot for him :) hes also a lil greaser boy and i was raised loving grease soooooo.... glad to see gruff! i promise he'll treat you well hes just a funny 50s grandpa
