A great symbol of WWI, Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen, known the world over as the ‘Red Baron’, was a fighter pilot for the German Air Service. After he went to the front lines he saw the war wasn't what it was said to be so he no longer wanted to fight in it, but he wasn't allowed to quit so he had to find a way out. That's my theory.

It's amazing that during that miserable war that they held that much respect for one of their enemies. The treatment of the Red Baron after his death sounds remarkable.
The Germans did the same thing to Albert Ball. England's top fighter ace who got disoriented in the clouds and made a nose first landing behind enemy lines.

If I remember correctly, WW1 quite a few pilots were quite the gentlemen. Many of them being from the more elite families of Europe, because of this they actually knew each other. So, when they were required to fight each other, the intent would be to disable the plane rather than the pilot, giving them a chance to land and live another day.
WW1 still had the old emperial honour code amongst soldiers, being a gentelman comes first even in the midst of one of the blodiest conflicts the world has even known

I want to see them do a video of how they make these.
the backround noise of the song red baron it just perfect
Every time I see a collab between Sabaton and Yarnhub, there’s always the excitement and shivers going down my spine. Keep up the good work fellas!
Yarnhub's animations are getting better and better. And it's always a pleasure seeing them combined with Sabaton's songs. I eagerly await what's in store for next time!
Yarnhub what a great video. Music and the way this story was told while telling it. To make this was nothing short of a masterpiece. For the story told you couldn't have made this any better. To be honored as a true fighter of the sky. What more could one ask for as a fighter ace. What a collaboration. What will be the next video. You got the worlds attention now. Too say I loved this video is an understatement.
When the prelude came in was so great. Perfect as always. Can't wait for more of these collabs.
This definitely by far the best and the most epic thing that I have ever seen on RUclips. I have always been inspired to join the air force because of The Red Baron and I hope to become something like him in the future. This is very inspiring and I absolutely love this video! Very well done 👍. One of my most favorite seen's was when the spirit of the Red Baron flying over his grave and on towards the light!
Thank you Manfred Von Richthofen!
In my mind the Red Baron will always be the king of the sky
Love these collaborations! Can't help but wonder what The Red Baron would have thought about modern aircraft though.
either a smile or a kick, its hard to tell.
I can't stop crying at the end of the video. It's so beautiful and he was a good soldier 🤧😭
Me also 😭😔😔
Last scene too emotional
Been said by many others, but Yarnhub's quality only continues to get better. More fluid, more natural human movements, facial details and expressions. Here's hoping more collaborations will bring even better visuals to accompany Sabaton.
I was at the Prague concert last week. It was amazing, the way you guys drank those beers! Ještě pivo! :) Thanks for coming here :)
Thanks for coming!
May he rest in peace.
love the reference to the red baron movie 3:21 nice one sabaton
I didnt think my favorite Sabaton Song could be improved but the machine gun fire and plane noises made it even better
I love the animation of Richthofen! The sneer, the cheer at Higher! So glorious!
I feel that this animation has greatly improved facial expressions and overall textures. The best one so far.
Grandioso trebajo,la cancion?Un gran tributo para un caballero del aire y el mejor piloto de combate de todos los tiempos!!!
This is fucking amazing! Felt hair raised on my back!
