How to replace battery in xiaomi robot vacuum G1 mop and sweeper combo. You do not actually have to remove the top cover to replace the battery like I did. All you need to do is just remove the bottom cover, and disconnect the connector to the battery.
So far my robot vacuum can now sweep my house instead of dying midway like it used to do with the old battery. Drop your questions down below if you have any. I bought my battery at RM80.

hi, also changed mine today and when I put it to charge, it automatically moves away from the dock. Any ideas what could be wrong? Replacement battery is 14.4V, 2600 mAh

Try check if the charging metal plates underneath it is secured in place? Then re-sit the charging dock and try let it charge a few times.

It does fully charges and works a lot longer than my worn battery.

Hi, nice how to, how was the error before replacement? Mine do not run, only shows an orange ring light at the buttons, it was the same?

@@ManteniendoloIrreal Mine was working fine but it could not clean the entire house like it used to. Always died in the middle so I figured the battery was weak.
