I seen a Gold Grabber II for sale a number of years ago for sale at a roadside flee market for dirt cheap. but never inquired about it and later wished I had purchased it. They are a lot of fun but require some work to run... Who needs a gym membership when you own a Gold Grabber II lol. Thanks for the video, Jack always educational to watch.
You diffidently have a large inventory of prospecting tools. Fun to see each of them and how they work. Since my goal in prospecting is to get exercise this would be a great add! Thanks for sharing. ⚒
Thank you for showing all of the different kinds of sluices dry washes that hand pump did not know there were so many varieties of gold getting equipment you must have a warehouse full of different kinds of machines to get gold thank you very much very interesting and you show us how to work them all
Interesting device...I think toward the end of the day I be hookin up the tsunami pump tho...Just thinkin of avoiding those arm cramps aroumd bedtime LOL

Awesome video! Those Gold Grabbers products are hard to grab a hold of, can't find any for almost 2yrs. Anyhow, makin' own rocker. Really enjoyed your video and thanks for sharing and take care. 🤙✌
Jack its a thing CALLED EVOLUTION WE used them as bilge pumps on SHIPS in the 1600s not so much now days YUP EYE HURTING GOLD HURTS YOUR EYES LOOKING FOR IT LOL nice vid Jack I have never seen one of them RIGS pretty cool LETS GO BRANDON
Another wonderful gold processing machine. The Gold Grabber! Better than the gold cube, and no longer in production. Can't find them anywhere, just like the Thompson Dry Washer. Nobody making anything as well made like them anymore. Thanks Jack for showing us this Vintage Unit. Keeps us educated, and reminiscing the good days. I've seen the big ones in action right next to my 10" drop riffle high banker from Geo Sluice Mining. Side by side processing from the same pay dirt in N.E. Oregon, along with a Gold Cube on my right. Both Put my sluice to shame real fast. I was amazed at the gold catch the Gold Grabber made compared to mine, right next to mine using the same dirt! Says something about the older technology. I looked online for one after that demonstration. That's when I found they are no longer available. Sad.
Thanks Jack for a couple reasons. Thanks for sending me the T shirt that I won and thanks for sharing this vid. Do you only prospect on club land or go on DNR and public land?
Looks like a good wash to metal detect also. I picked up a Gold Grabber highbanker last year but it doesn’t have a hand pump. I need to get hand pump for mine but I’m also going to build a cradle for it so it can also be use as a rocker box. How many gallons per minute is the pump on yours?
It looks like it wiuld be easier if you were on a stream to bucket feed the water. that would work good were i prospect because they do not allow power anything all hand or stream sluices and equipment.Do they still sell these?
Allen Trees used to build the Gold Grabber for years. I am not sure if he is still building them. He lives in Riggins Idaho. Honestly after watching the way it works it would be easier to dump a 5 gallon bucket of water over it and be done but hey you are getting into shape. And areas where there is no water you would be better off running a desert fox with a re circulating pump running off a battery or dry wash with billows.
Thanks for showing how an "old fart" gets samples out! ..... from an OLDER FART. I NEEDED THAT! Seriously..... how might that compare to a small dry washer - for sampling.
You need to modify the pump mechanism so that it attaches to a bicycle chain of a stationary exercise bike. Then you can cycle with your feet instead of pumping with your arms.
You climbing up and down the bank of the wash is exactly why I can not prospect anymore. I am 73 and the body does not work very well anymore. I live in AZ and have access to many claims which I did for 20 years. Those days are gone now.
I think you should replace that bellows pump with a rotary one. Much easier to work and more even flow. ruclips.net/video/xyeKGkysKS0/видео.html Probably available in plastic somewhere for less weight.
I have 350 hectares of land with the highest percentage of copper mineral content compared to other minerals and the location of my land is in Indonesia (Rau Rau Village, Rarowatu Bombana District, Southeast Sulawesi) terima kasih
You are not going far from the truck with that and all the water. Might as well carry another battery and an electric pump. Better yet, leave the machine at home and just use an electric pump and sluce box. A lot simpler and lighter.

One day they may come back.
You should get several likes just for the effort. 👍

I think around 28 or 31

Not at this time but maybe soon

We bought the gold Grabbers from Allen a few years ago. We later sold it.
Sitting in thr shade of your truck why not use a 12vdc pump? Might be a "non-mechanized" power zone. Kudos for showing the Gold Grabber 2.
That apparatus needs a pump that works on both strokes.
Thanks for showing how an "old fart" gets samples out! ..... from an OLDER FART.
I NEEDED THAT!
Seriously..... how might that compare to a small dry washer - for sampling.
Drywasher would be faster.
Nice wash, I want to hit that with a drywasher and detector

is that down from a old mine by any chance or is just a random spot in a mining district?
There are some old mines up on the hill yes.
I was wondering does any of those mines on your property have water in them.
No.
You climbing up and down the bank of the wash is exactly why I can not prospect anymore. I am 73 and the body does not work very well anymore. I live in AZ and have access to many claims which I did for 20 years. Those days are gone now.
I understand that. It sucks getting old.
Good luck and thanks for watching
wouldn't it be helluvalot easier to just grab a 5 litre bucket and just pour it over the material instead of pumping ?
This is what I was gonna suggest. Just take a bucket and pour it over the top of the machine.
I think you should replace that bellows pump with a rotary one. Much easier to work and more even flow.

Do they have a left handed model? 🤣🤣👍🏻✅
You can put the pump on any side
You Guys are funny, I watch you too
@@terryanderson3742 👍🏻
Of all the machines you’ve featured that’s the most primitive and cumbersome one!! Atleast now people know not to buy it!!🤐😁
