For me the most important discovery was when I realised if you are playing solo you don't need to wait forever for your AI squad to hop in the car/chopper with you - just drive off they'll magically appear in the vehicle with you.
Some actual tips ---- Raise your difficulty, the game will get boring as it's very easy on a low difficulty. Gather skill points and focus on getting every skill level 1, this will provide you with all the tools needed, and all the epic skills. Make sure to get the grenade launcher early, unless you find another way to take out helicopters. When playing alone you can mark a helicopter pilot and your squad can "sync shot" him for an easy take out (use the drone) Level up spotting and vehicle transport as fast as you can. These will prove very useful, especially on higher difficulties. During the rebel mission where you must break down the door, then go in and hack the laptop, it is timed. To make this easier use the spotting skill from the rebels first. Then shoot into the buildings walls, after killing everyone you can walk in like nothing happened. The time won't start until the door is broken. Max your sync shot skill, it is very effective when playing alone. Play alone, or with friends. Randoms can't do anything right. Often times you will see rebels locked in camps, and the door locked. You can shoot the door and it will open. This works for almost any locked door in the game. There is a power box on alarms that can be shot to disable them. Many places have doors that can be only opened by bringing up a vehicle to it, these doors open when the power is shut off. Suppressers reduce the damage of you weapon, I suggest taking yours off after engaging. Notice the advance suppressor skill takes away the damage reduction. You don't have to wait for AI to get in your vehicle, they will teleport in. If you use a >4 seat car they will teleport to you after you get out of the vehicle. You can strafe to dodge anti-air missiles. I have not tested myself, but I heard that AI can not hear past 150m, however that doesn't effect much. A single stray bullet can cause you to restart a mission, don't miss. These are all some simple tips that I've found while playing. I haven't seen these anywhere so I figured I would share my knowledge. Enjoy the game Ghosts!

in 2022 this game is awesome I've already put in about 30 hours in this game nothing's like logging in seeing your own dudes smoking a cigar and taking out enemies from 200 to 300 m away this game is awesome and the customization very cool you can customize everybody in your own crew if you want to run with an all black crew go ahead if you want to run with the whole white crew yeah Asian crew oh yeah
Somethin' cool I learned with the drone is while activated, you can use one of the rebel abilities to use that Rebel Scan thing. Helps a lot when you wanna get those cartel or unidad forces that are in buildings and such
Use the drone, plan each engagement, Look at the maps and play the zones in order of their difficulty rating. Stealth also makes it significantly easier. Run from unidad most of the time as their patrol level doesn't decrease if you stay and try to fight it out with them.
Let's add that: If playing solo, you don't need to take a vehicle that carries your squad. You can take a motorcycle, leaving your squad behind, and whenever you hop off, your squad will just appear next to you.
Those teenagers who say that you should play the game on hard and no hud and not to use drone are fool. Like even if the game was real life the technology is always in there to help.

you ask if fast travel is cheating but yet you play with your enemy markers on (wall hack) and you must be on the easiest difficulty because your guy sponged 10 bullets from a miningun and survived...
Highest difficulty no hud no drone and no fast travel and if you really wanna play immersive don't use the ammo boxes littered throughout the world only use the ones at rebel bases.. I also dont magically change my loadout in battle but that is me
I love the hardest difficulty, i felt the game got that the game was a rins and repeat game until me and a bud switched to the hardest mode. trying to stealth our way through missions, but that seems to be near impossible most of the times. (like without killing any mobs) the hud will stay on tho, and the drone is going to be used, as i love to be a spotter for my mate, helping him progress through a base, planning takedowns etc. bought it at launch, and just now seriously picked it up. great game ^^
I wish your squad can also go in camo mode. I tried equipping them with that (praying that it would have helped me and look cooler) but realized right away it didn't actually work for them
I beat the whole game and maxed level and skills and I found it to be much too time consuming to hit every resource cache I saw. instead I would just hit the supply raids, mostly convoys because they give the most and it's super easy to just hit them with the grenade launcher a few times till the driver hops out then command your ghosts to fire and maybe call in guns for hire from rebels then just run in tag the truck and run out. doing it that way takes about 3 or 4 shots of the gun and can give anywhere from 2000-5000 of a single supply and could take as little as 30 seconds compared to 10 seconds for a possible 50 supply. (the only down side is if you destroy the convoy completely then it considerably reduces the total resource gain, however you do still get resources which is a plus)

If you see an explosion in the wilderness, and seek it out, there are a few enemies, and supplies to tag. So sometimes when you're low on supplies do not use fast travel, but go by foot. ;)

You can't really drive everywhere like the video suggests. Seems like the opposite, actually. It's like there's an unnecessary amount of rocks and shit when you try to drive off-road. It's hard to get around.
Unplug it from your TV and lay it down on the floor, then getting down on two knees spread your body horizontally keeping the PS4 between your torso and the floor
my favorite part about the game is the feature they added that renders you unable to use the drone or binocs unless you have an internet connection. when I seen it happen in the beta, i crossed my fingers and hoped they put it in the actual physical game that I spent almost a $100 dollars paying for. thanks dominic bulter. #ubisoftrocks

Dead Prepper What I recommend is getting the minimap, go in ghost mode, and get a good tactical crew, its a lot more hard but fun. There's this great RUclips account, search up F.I.S.T wild lands, they do that and it looks amazing

No game is perfect by any means and I almost didn't get it due to all the hate I was seeing but this game is great from the start I got to do whatever I wanted tackle anything I wanted. I really wanna explore the map then start on the missions I found the hti and msr within the first hour just sucks still looking for a better sight than the acog. But I'm glad I got it
NEVER fast travel, it ruins immersion and you get XP for everything you stumble across. Also, you can now switch the AI dummies off completely. Better to go it alone or with real co-op friends on as hard a difficulty as you can manage.
Game is only worth playing on extreme difficulty. Enemy tagging off, sync shot off and minimap off. It's more immersive this way but still doable and a lot more fun.
ALSO a good tip...IF you use a sniper strong with no silencer you can shoth in walls BUT i say about not just any walls ...the walls and +power source electric both same time if is after a wall...if i knew that ...welll was more easy and not so much pain remeber MSR powerfull sniper and no silencer. peace!

Another tip: When starting out, do yourself a favor and get the sniper at the base (where the interrogations are).

Bobnice31 Thats what i thought too. I'd go done in a second in front of that minigun, this guy was taking bullets like a boss from the division.

Also if u get the bomb upgrade for the drone u can send it in to kill any hvt or destroy any objective from far away

All common sense, you should have said to get additional sync shots in the skill tree to take out multiple targets at once if playing solo.

No game is perfect by any means and I almost didn't get it due to all the hate I was seeing but this game is great from the start I got to do whatever I wanted tackle anything I wanted. I really wanna explore the map then start on the missions I found the hti and msr within the first hour just sucks still looking for a better sight than the acog. But I'm glad I got it
NEVER fast travel, it ruins immersion and you get XP for everything you stumble across. Also, you can now switch the AI dummies off completely. Better to go it alone or with real co-op friends on as hard a difficulty as you can manage.

Just got this game for $10
Game is only worth playing on extreme difficulty. Enemy tagging off, sync shot off and minimap off. It's more immersive this way but still doable and a lot more fun.

ALSO a good tip...IF you use a sniper strong with no silencer you can shoth in walls BUT i say about not just any walls ...the walls and +power source electric both same time if is after a wall...if i knew that ...welll was more easy and not so much pain remeber MSR powerfull sniper and no silencer. peace!
