Hey caito, for future reference when doing lip swatches, instead of going through 100 makeup wipes and scrubbing your lips off, try coating them with vaseline or petroleum jelly, leaving it on for about 30 seconds, then wiping it off with a napkin. Its much easier to get off and wont irritate your skin so much!!

For the gold metallic lipstick you should consider trying to do a cleopatra inspired look with a blue smokey eye with the gold lips

I think you should jump into the holiday ones! Last year you doing makeup looks with the holiday collection helped me for holiday parties and work for makeup!

I love the collection but Santa Baby looks similar to Masochist and it looks very patchy as does Berries On Ice. Beautiful colours but I'm not gonna buy those 2. Thanks Caito, I always trust your reviews.

In his holiday collection video he says that the 2 berry shards need 2 coats, he admits to them being more streaky :) any reds are very hard to make :)
Maddie Johnsons he started in his reveal video that since his brand is vegan it's harder for him to make red and berry colors as pigmented as possible becasue of that, and he also stated that those couple colors would need a double layer.
He was saying in his reveal berries on ice would need layered to be full pigment. Some colors are hard to make and that’s one of them lol. I’ve noticed that with purples
Danielle Methner especially since they are vegan you can’t use some of the pigments that are in regular lipsticks
I use coconut oil and a soft exfoliating glove to get off really tough liquid lipsticks without irritating my lips. Just a tip in case you didn't know❤️

In his video Jeffree did admit that Berries on Ice is a bit sheer since purple colours are hard to make especially if you are using vegan ingredients :)

With gold lipsticks I’ve used it to ombré .....try a little on centre and smack lips with a red or maroon like colour always works for me 🤗
I personally would love to see you finish his family collection, but honestly I watch all your tutorials and do em myself because they're so great, so do whichever ones you want! 💛

limecrime did a gold metallic a while a go and its super good, i suggest it for people who want first class but dont want to deal with the building and opacity issues. also for last years limecrime christmas collection they did a colour identical to poinsettia, and that was super opaque, i own it in a mini and its amazing so id suggest that instead if you dont like building again

For a tutorial with the bright gold lipstick (First Class I think it was called) you could do an ombré or faded out lip look with it in the middle and a darker color on the outside. I think it looks nice on you, it just needs a little definition ☺️

I loved the Jeffree lips when they first came out because the colours were so unique and the formula was the best at the time, but now its like.. Theyre trying to see how many reds can they put out and call different names?? And people still buy them.. Idk maybe I don't know anything lol
Emily O'Brien I don't mind it though, that means there's likely a red that will suit every skin tone. I only will wear a very particular shade of red and if he only had one red in his range, I doubt it'd work for me.
Elisabeth Slater i totally get that! Its just from watching Caito's videos, she would say "oh this red is really similar to this red theyve already put out" and i don't really see the point in making like 20 different red shades when the pigment is only slightly different. Of course its not me paying the money for them and everyone can do what they want with their own money, its up to them
His lip colours are the only ones I will buy. The colours are fantastic

I ordered the 24k pallet to mainly use as eye shadows because I love golds and they make my reddish brown eyes pop more. I haven’t gotten it yet but I avoided platinum ice because I have moon child and the alchemist pallet. And some make up reviewers who got 24k say its a lot creamier and pigmented than platinum ice which is a bit sheer. Awesome review btw! I’m anxiously awaiting my order

Heyo I have a quick little tip thingy. When I feel bold I put two colours on either half/side of my lip and I think that would come in handy when you do these swatches.

I mean I haven't got berries on ice so I'm basing this purely on what I've seen in swatches and shit but beet it by limecrime seems like a really similar colour and you don't need to layer it to get the colour pay off, it's literally one of my favourite lipsticks ever
