LOVE the theming! Reminiscent of a log cabin diner that would fit in the mountain community of Lake Arrowhead. A perfect spot for cozy pancakes and hot cocoa. Oh wait….
"Great Maple" sounds like a great name and gets your imagination thinking about what it could be. Then you go inside and it's a trap, you're really in an Ikea or a Home Goods store. I'm assuming that great ideas were pitched by the creatives but the decision makers killed it by turning it into something that resembled their own limited imaginations.
The dramatic photos of Pixar characters in a setting that looks like a restaurant at an airport's newest wing...insane what this company gets away with now as a farce for themed entertainment.
I hate it. They had a chance to put in a Pixar Themed Restaurant and they gave us this. $28 for a burger? I'd rather go across to the Grand Californian. What a shame.
I hope the food at this Great Maple is better than the one in California. The food is not great there at all and they use premade ingredients, not preparing food from scratch.
It's strange that they opted for a chain restaurant in what is supposed to be an official Disney hotel. The company must be in real dire straits if they can't even afford to create their own restaurants anymore.
The business cards are a nice touch in a world of qr-codes. Understanding it's NOT supposed to be a 'Pixar' restaurant...it's still a bit bland > there should be a lot maple-wood sculptures placed throughout the seating from Canadian artists.

I don’t even see an maple wood?!?!
Looking forward to trying this place soon.
How does Great Maple fit into Pixar theming?
Good point. It doesn’t. Kind of like the concession food joints you might see paying into college student unions. Disney collects the fee.
This doesn’t look like a place you could go to decompress (especially if you were parents of little kids) after a raucous day in parks.
It’s like architecture and interior design these days is intentionally trying to make you feel bland,
mundane and hopeless.

Holy cow this place couldn’t look more bland if it tried……….or could it?!?
Do you want it to be obnoxious or have good food? I would err on the chance the food is edible. Sometimes you can over due the theming.
I hope there’s still a quiet, dark hideaway bar, but I doubt it at this rate. If they can have a steakhouse (71) that’s bright lit, anything goes.
I don’t see any reservations pop up on Disney app? Is that where you reserved?
They just popped up on mine today
Yawn. Much like Steakhouse 71 in Florida, it has all the warm ambience of an IKEA showroom.
Ikea's cafeteria has better quality food.

I love it! But I think it would’ve been a better fit over at grand Californian 🍁

The interior seems lackluster. "Great Maple" screams cozy, warm and rustic atmosphere.
This place needs A LOT more color...
Still don't know why they put a generic restaurant in the Pixar Place hotel...oh, yeah, money, that's right! 😂
The place is not even half full and so noisy. I can't imagine what a full restaurant will sound like.
Is this one of those Starbucks Reserves?
Countdown to re-theming in 3…2..1.
thought it was a hilton for a second
Where's the disney Pixar place hotel?

Look it's a Starbucks!! They really have lost all imagination...idk what it is but the pictures of the characters look weird
This isn’t a Disney restaurant
@@WDWNT oh well that makes sense...hope the food is good

Generic grey buss station. Everyone involved should be ashamed.

Kathleen Kennedy after working so hard to make boring movies is now designing their restaurants! 😂👎🏻🤦🏼♂️
