I love how people know that BL's, especially Japanese ones, are going to have toxic relationships a high percentage of time because those types of scripts sell well, and they watch them from beginning to end and then cry about the toxicity.😅
Normally the couples of this type that I have seen were in the hope of punishment for the aggressor, and perhaps because I am a psychologist and human nature makes me very curious. And yes, maybe some unhealthy morbidity... I just hope that in some series the "happy ending" really is and the abused person finds a really good partner.

I watched this bl and i loved it because i understand both of them, i understand their lack of communication because i am like them as well, i understand very well the fear of talking and expressing my own thoughts but in the end and hopefully they ended up together and they tried to open up to each other

I'm not against screenwriters writing stories about toxic relationships. I see works like "My Personal Weatherman" as a denunciation and a warning, so that people know what an unhealthy relationship is.

😂You made me laugh! ...it's not a toxic relationship... we have to understand..it's about COMMUNICATION...2)two( people need to communicate with each other...be able to understand each other... Their love exists...he liked Yoh in college..from there...the proposal 😉 His intention was for both of them to be together ❤
I think it became a toxic relation because of the lack of communication. But it was and stayed a love story first

Respecto a si es una relación tóxica, es relativo. Al principio parece plantearse una relación amo/esclavo que se desarrolla en una relación de amor, de cuidado y de entendimiento de las necesidades del otro, o sea, una relación sana. Son 2 personas con carencias afectivas y que no saben cómo comunicar su necesidad de afecto. Ninguno sufre por el trato de exclusividad que necesita uno de ellos. Por el contrario, los momentos de sufrimiento que muestra la serie es ante la ignorancia y falta de demostración de amor del otro. Al principio cuando Yoh se queja de sentirse un esclavo, está demandando que lo ame, ser más que un esclavo para él. Por eso, porque desea ser más es que espera con ansias los días soleados y quiere que esa regla se rompa. Ambos se desean, se aman y coinciden en sus juegos. En un momento Yoh lo dice, "es posible que me guste". Sería una relación tóxica si uno de ellos sufriera, y le cortara su desarrollo en todas o en alguna área ( profesional, social, etc). En lo laboral , Yoh es estimulado para que continúe con su carrera. Si bien, en lo social es posesivo, quiere saber dónde y con quién está, poco a poco va abriéndose, aceptando que vea amigos a medida que se siente más amado por Yoh. Esta es una de mis series bl favoritas. Los dos actores son bellos y creíbles, encarnaron muy bien sus roles. La voy viendo por tercera vez. Y también acepten que hay personas que nos guste ver una relación posesiva, para mí, no llega a ser tóxica.

The actors do convey great chemistry tricking into liking the drama eventhough it seems toxic actually ..only if they were assigned with much better developed roles in the future....
