GC here. I'm just gonna let you guys know that mechanics is not even close to a good assessment of someone's skill. It doesn't matter if you can air dribble if your rotations, positioning, or hits suck. If you enter games expecting to air dribble, you're not going to have success. Lets be crystal clear about this; if you play rocket league with an instinct to dribble or to set up your own mediocre ceiling shot, you are hurting your team more than you are helping. "But MY dribbles and MY [insert miscellaneous mechanic] work!" No, no they don't. Look at the way simon approaches the ball. He's trash at actually hitting it or doing anything remotely impressive in the air, but he has better game sense than most at his rank.
Honestly, I am shocked. The fact that you are plat should not be a thing. I am gold 1 and I know how to air roll and know how to air dribble, but when Simon hits the ball two times in a row he is amazing (;-;) It just hurts my eyes to watch two guys who I love, respect and support, playing in a rank that they do not deserve. I am sorry. PS. would you please play solo games? To see where you are placed (heart) (heart)
