A lot of people keep talking about investments and how investment trade change their lives. I really need to engage myself in someway of earning more income and stop depending on the government
Every content requires context. I listened to the full sermon, he didn’t explicitly say generational curses don’t exist. This was his statement “what people USUALLY call generational curses are simply people repeating the choices…” he was talking about changing the trajectory of one’s life at that point.

Under the Law of Moses, Israel was a covenant people. In Exodus 34:6-7, Moses taught that God visits the sins of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, upon the third and upon fourth generation. The particular sin that God visited to the third and fourth generation was specifically the worship of other gods and idolatry. Behind idolatry, as discussed earlier, is the aspect of demonism. If there was some form of idolatry, the sin of demonic control can be passed down to the third and fourth generation. Idolatry is not limited merely to the bowing before statues. Any form of the occult is, in essence, a form of idolatry, because it involves respect for another god other than the true God. But the Mosaic Law does not operate today. Is not the rule of life for the believer, nor can the Law be used to try to develop spiritual principles to avoid demon possession or the need for deliverance. It has become a fad in certain movements of the Christian church to claim that one "needs to break a generational bondage," but that is simply not biblically valid. To begin with, the Mosaic Law, with its principle of God visiting the sins of the fathers down to the fourth generation, was true only in reference to Israel because of Israel's covenantal relationship. It does not apply to the Gentiles or to the Church today. Furthermore, once a person receives the Lord and is regenerated, any bondage to sin is broken immediately; one does not need to go around renouncing previous generation sins, though some teach that people need to break the curses of bondage coming down the generational line. This is just a new fad that has permeated segments of the evangelical church, and certain teachers have misused the Scriptures in trying to hold to this premise. While it was true for Israel under the Mosaic Law, it was not true for Gentiles during the same period, nor is it true for believers today. When we are regenerated, we are saved completely and that includes salvation from any generational sin. Spiritual problems are easily solved when people conform themselves to the spiritual principles of the Law of the Messiah, and there is no need to try to explain them by claiming that the Mosaic Law somehow still applies today. It does not now, and never did apply to Gentiles. People often pray the way they have been taught and often follow the newest gimmicks and fads; such as, "binding the spirits." As the Holy Spirit does not violate His own Word, people are not led by the Spirit to pray against generational sins. Whatever the Holy Spirit does by way of leading people today would be consistent with the written Word of God. All of the prayers of the apostles and the principles of the New Testament. while dealing with the issues of sins in various believers' lives, never mention praying to break any generational bondage. People have simply taken a principle out of the Law which applied to Israel as a covenantal people and applied it to believers today; by so doing, they have devalued the accomplishments of the blood of the Messiah on the cross, an act that brings instantaneous deliverance from any bondage of sin.
For a long period I believed in generational curses but recently I have begun questioning the doctrine. My church taught it and still does but I have learnt to go beyond denominational boundaries when it comes to learning biblical truth. We often fail to be 'Bereans' but defend our denominations irrationally. I confine my argument to born-again people. I wonder why the same Christ who delivers one from them after salvation does not or is unable to deliver his saint at first encounter. I wonder what preparation He needs to slay the giant. Paul tells us that we have been redeemed from the curse of the Law -are these curses not contained therein? Something is wrong doctrinally here and we need to be objective to be taught by the Holy Spirit. If true they remain after we or some of us get saved, that points to a weak and confused God and part of the Bible's doctrine is erroneous. I have seen many believers praying against them for decades or even throughout their lifetime. They usually revolve around poverty. I wonder why God is not responding -or is it His will or is it a nonexistent phenomenon being prayed against. This boils down to "properly dividing the word of truth".
But why are we seeing their manifestations, even after being born again. I am not criticizing you. I am just wondering why people experience it even though they are born again. If you know any family it has happened to, you'll understand where I am coming from. I know a family with 2 autistic children generation wise, some patterns are even into 3 generations. How does one explain all that.
So for you, Autism is a curse?? No wonder Christian keep away from follow Christian with Autism. Autism is NEUROLOGICAL problem. Yes it genetical. So Every sickness is curse?? Africans!! Everything is Demons. Delivrance. When Job lost his children. This was maybe generation curse. I think this preacher is right.... Please don't feel that you are curse if you have Autism. Those who mock you will end up in hell. @tpshalom

Great contribution, for me it is simple and all in scripture. Christ has taken away our sins and the tendency to sin in the same way He has taken way curses. Why do we then keep sinning even after we have received the Holy Spirit? Does the habitual sin we used to sin before we got born again disappears immediately Christ come into our life? The answer is NO. This is the WRONG DOCTRINE: Every thing happens automatic in Christ just believe and don't accept the lies to the devil. IN THE SAME WAY AS A CHRISTIAN YOU HAVE TO USE THE BIBLE AND DETERMINE TO LIVE THE LIFE IT PRESCRIBES FOR US, THAT IS THE SAME WAY WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH CURSES. THEY ARE REAL AND WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT THE SAME WAY YOU DEAL WITH SIN IN YOU LIFE, ALCOHOLISM, SMOKING, FORNICATION .... NAME IT. IT IS NOT AUTOMATIC. TAKE IT TO GOD IN PRAYER AND YOUR PERSONAL DETERMINATION TO COME OUT. THIS IS THE TRUTH. DENYING IT WILL NOT SOLVE IT NEITHER MUST EVERY CHRISTIAN SAY THEY MUST BY ALL MEANS GO THROUGH DELIVERANCE EVEN IF THERE IS NO NEED TO GO THROUGH THAT EXERCISE BECAUSE THE WORD OF GOD KEEP DELIVERING US AS WE KEEP LISTENING TO IT AND WE BY DETERMINATION RESPOND POSITIVELY TO IT. THERE MUST BE BALANCE.
Mensa Otabil has acknowledged the existence of curses, etc. in his other preaching, just that he chooses to acknowledge the power of God over the devil. Yes but If you are a true believer, then you must believe that the blood of Jesus will break every chain. You can't be a child of God and believe that curses have power over you
But now we have Christ Jesus, by his blood, why we still allow those so called generational curses, is not for us anymore, we now have authority over everything, guyssss!! Why Jesus came???? If u believe in Christ Jesus as our Lord n saviour, no no no more generational curses, to those who believe in him☝️hoooooo🤚🤚🤚we r saved now
I refuse in Jesus Name, no generational curses in my family, bcos the devil is under my feet. Those generational curses ended with our grangrand fathers, bcos they didn't know about Jesus, soo this is my Family, Christ his the first priority in my family purit, no room for the devil with his so called generational curses. So it's true that is by choice, don't allow those curses upon Ur childrens, we fear no evil.
Believers cannot be under a generational curse or any other curse because Jesus became a curse for us on the cross. Gal 3:13 Unsaved people are under all kinds of curses including generational curses. Check this scripture in Jeremiah Jeremiah 31:28-29 KJV - saith the LORD. 29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. Jeremiah 31:29-31 KJV - . 30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge. At the cross Jesus drank the sour grape for when He cried out. "I THIRST" and He was given vinegar to drink.
Exodus 20:5 is talking about idolatry. Ezekiel 18:20 tells us that everyone is responsible for their own sin. Jesus became our curse. Cursed is everyone that hangers from a tree. Jesus redeemed us from the curse Galatians 3:13. A person that makes the same choice that their parents whether its drug abuse, alcohol is a repeated choice you have to make a different choice
I think a lot of comments have correctly addressed the issue...we need no other arguments because it is enough that Jesus died and that he died for me...if you choose to believe that you are still under some curse as a believer then you really don't understand what God was doing on that cross...if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed...some pastors prey on the ignorance of believers and make them depend on them but Jesus paid it all
Jesus paid it all and there should be evidence to manifest within you. You can't be afflicted by poverty, diseases, failure, witch craft and still say he paid it all. Most christians cling on scripture and then suffer afflictions. It means you are living a lie. Lastly when you get saved by faith we believe that you are a child of God but it's through baptism of fire that confirms you as child of God. Majority of christians fear the journey part and don't go on to become children of God.
@@joann7459 sis tell that to Apostle Paul. He is one of the greatest Christians ever, yet was afflicted, shipwrecked, imprisoned and suffered a thorn in his flesh. The gospel you believe in wouldn’t encourage Paul. However the biblical gospel would!

It is an oddity that believers today hardly have an in-depth comprehension of their faith but listen to lies from seducing spirit. Moreso, the infiltration of African mythology is prevalent in churches today. There is no single happenstance of generational curse in the bible. Not just one! We are engrossed with curses in Deuteronomy 5:9 but fail to see the thousand of years of blessing for those who love God. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and fourth generation of those who reject me, 10 but showing steadfast love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments. Moreso😢,they chose not to see or read Ezekiel 18 that no one bears the sin of another. Ezekiel 18:19-23 King James Version (KJV) The soul that sinneth, it shall die. Even in the old Testament, generational curse was refuted by God.
The fact that i look like and resemble my biological father and both my sons look like me, that on its own enough to establish some patterns. Inherited patterns do exist, and what are they if they can't be traced generational? I believe God is able to ...

I humbly appeal unto all of us that we read Ezekiel 18 and allow the spirit of truth to guide us. Mind you, whatever you learn there, was even under the old covenant. Now we have a superior covenant. May God teach us the essence of salvation in Christ Jesus. Satan thrives on our ignorance
Thanks you man of God for setting the records straight. there are two sides of the coin, Mensa Otabil is speaking to one side of the fact but the Bible teaches about generational curses and has provided clear directions as to how to come out of it. 1. Be born again - because it is only in Christ can the legal mandate holding a curse can be taken away. 2. Live a devoted to God, abstaining from polluted life especially those that give legal grounds for such a curses. 3. Prayer and if necessary prayer of deliverance. To say generational curse does not exist and that it is automatically taken away once you are a born again believer is not true and a simplistic approach which will keep Christians in perpetual bondage.

He never specifically said that there is no such thing as generational curses. Even if he did, he would be lying. I choose to believe in the word of God than believe in the word of man. Let God be true and every man a liar..
People like to have a form of godliness, they find satisfaction in doing something. They feel accomplished when they are busy praying even though it is a useless prayer. They have rejected knowledge, let them find someone to blame, their forefathers.@@ao4514

This caption is true. I was reading the word in book of Ezekiel 18 :3 and even shared with my sister . Because the lord himself said. As surely as I live you will no longer quote this proverb about generational curse FOR EVERYONE BELONGS TO ME, THE PARENTS AS WELL AS THE CHILD. - BOTH A LIKE BELONG TO ME 🙏 FOR THE ONE WHO SIN IS THE ONE WHO WILL DIE🎉
Most things we think are inherited are actually learnt, Curse is mentioned in the Bible saying cursed is one hanging on the tree Gal 3:13 another “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse “ Gal 1:8 said Paul. There curse is addressed
100% true. People who do not manifest in the spiritual gifts are the ones who pretend to be more knowledgeable, holier than those who are practicing it.
I asked CHATGPT - Is there any thing like BREAKING GENERATIONAL CURSES? and I was shocked to NOTE that ordinary Ai knows more than most us, this is what it said "The concept of "breaking generational curses" is often discussed within certain Christian circles, though it is not a specific phrase found in the Bible. The idea is that negative patterns, sins, or consequences can be passed down from one generation to the next, and through faith and prayer, individuals can break these cycles. Several biblical passages are often cited in discussions about generational curses: Exodus 20:5-6 (NIV): "You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments." Deuteronomy 5:9-10 (NIV): "You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments." Ezekiel 18:20 (NIV): "The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them." The Ezekiel passage emphasizes individual responsibility for sin, indicating that each person is accountable for their own actions rather than bearing the guilt of their ancestors. In the New Testament, the focus is often on the redemptive power of Christ to set individuals free from sin and its consequences: Galatians 3:13 (NIV): "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.'" 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV): "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" Colossians 2:14-15 (NIV): "Having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross." These New Testament passages emphasize that through Christ, believers can experience freedom from past burdens, including any generational influences, through the redemptive work of Jesus. While the Bible addresses the impact of ancestral sin and individual responsibility, the specific phrase "breaking generational curses" is more of a theological interpretation and practice derived from these scriptural principles.

If there's a generational blessing then we should know that there's also a generational curse. The good news is that the death of Christ Jesus has given us the power to get rid out of any curse. For some time now Dr. Mensah Otabils message is becoming difficult to understand. Recently I chanced on one of his message and he said no man preaches the word of God including himself. They only interpretate the spoken word of God.

It's very simple, read Hebrews 7, the Bible said Levi paid tithe to Melchizedek. But, at the time he was not born, so, how could he? It was Abraham his grandfather that paid it. In other words, Abraham's action affected his grandson.

Denying generational curses is in another way denying that we have all sinned and fallen short and in the grand scheme of things you are denying the salvation power of Jesus christ. Because what brings Jesus is to destroy sin and connect us back to God.

Let's put this matter to rest. If you say it exists you are correct. If you say it doesn't exist you are also correct. Just make sure you that you well grounded in the word of God to deal with the consequences of your choice
Jeremiah 31:31-34 [31]“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah- [32]not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. [33]But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. [34]No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
If you are a true believer, then you must believe that the blood of Jesus will break every chain. You can't be a child of God and believe that curses have power over you
@@Baffour_ComMo duh they don’t have authority but they definitely exist! Many Believers are IGNORANT to this! I know Christians who are poor, sick, not progressing these are indeed curses! We have the blood of Yahushua to use our authority but Christian’s are lazy they want Yah to do all the work when we are REQUIRED to put on the armor as well!!!!
I appreciate Mensah Otabil a lot but this message I disagree with it. There’s a generational curse. Just look the pattern of life from Abraham to Isaac and Jacob.
What about children who have not reached the age of reason? Obviously they can and are making sinful choices having been BORN IN SIN and SHAPED IN INIQUITY. This is a generational curse. Let us stop rationalizing the gospel and teach SOUND DOCTRINE.
Jesus Christ, has taken away our sins over 2000 years ago, you just need to repent by acknowledging them, and baptized in the name Jesus for the remission of sin,and you shall receive the Holy Spirit, which is the gift of eternal life,to be born again of God..

In Exodus 34:6-7, Moses taught that God visits the sins of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, upon the third and upon fourth generation. Solomon, in this video its difficult to know what your stand is concerning GENERATIONAL CURSES, however no child of God has any generational curse to break, whether in your bible study /prayer meetings or in any church. Simply because Christ has REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE, Infact He freed us from anything that WAS CONTRARY TO US - Colossians 2:14-15 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15, And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. If this scripture is true and i Know it is: therefore praying for deliverance from any curse WHATSOEVER will amount to lack of faith in what Jesus has accomplished. Finally therefore, I beleive in Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who (those in Christ Jesus) walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

When a father talks as if he has no wisdom, it is ridiculous. God said He will visit the iniquities of the fathers on children to the 3rd and 4th generations. When God shields you from somethings don't think that those suffering from those things are fools. Let us sit down and study dividing the word of God correctly.

No no on this one he can not say it's choice. Evil patterns are real. These patterns which are bondages or spiritual prisons are real. What is salvation? When answering this question please bear in mind that it's not a choice but we are saved by God's grace through faith.

It is pastors like this who leave people suffering. Simple way to look at it: In scripture only 2 things are transgenerational, a blessing or a curse.Christians like this will say there is nothing like generational curse, yet easily agree there is diabetes, cancer etc in their family line. Where did that sickenss come from?It is definitely not a blessing in the family line. I know so many people who dealt with such issues just from a prayer. They should stop the lazy approach by lying to christians.

Go and study the prophecy in Jeremiah 31:29. For better understanding, read the complete chapter. Don't darken counsel with ignorance. You can add Ezekiel 18
@@yawboahen This verse is part of a larger passage in which the prophet Jeremiah is conveying God’s promise of a new covenant with the people of Israel. The proverb mentioned in this verse was used in ancient times to express the idea that children suffer as a result of their parents’ sins. However, in this new covenant, God promises that everyone will be responsible for their own actions. In other words, each person will face the consequences of their own actions, not those of their parents. This marks a significant shift in the understanding of individual and collective responsibility.
@@yawboahen 18 The word of the Lord came unto me again, saying, 2 What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge? 3 As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel. 4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. *Verse 3, tells us NOT to use this proverb any longer*

Great teaching that I m not understanding entirely yet. Pray for more revelation from Holy Spirit. Thank you for preaching Grace above demonic
Delivrance.

If you are a true believer, then you must believe that the blood of Jesus will break every chain. You can't be a child of God and believe that curses have power over you
Ezekiel 18:20 KJV
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
The word of God
There are definitely generational curses. Denying the truth makes people not to find deliverance.

A person that makes the same choice that their parents whether its drug abuse, alcohol is a repeated choice you have to make a different choice
two truths can peacefully coexist.. pastor otabil is correct and so are you.. somethings are patterns, others are curses
I think a lot of comments have correctly addressed the issue...we need no other arguments because it is enough that Jesus died and that he died for me...if you choose to believe that you are still under some curse as a believer then you really don't understand what God was doing on that cross...if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed...some pastors prey on the ignorance of believers and make them depend on them but Jesus paid it all
Beautifully said 👏👏👏
Jesus paid it all and there should be evidence to manifest within you.
@@taebrown384 ohh you lack revelation sis. Paul was never sick and was prosperous. Please always try to allow the holy spirit to guide you when you read scripture. You will end up getting things wrong if you don't.

Moreso, the infiltration of African mythology is prevalent in churches today.
There is no single happenstance of generational curse in the bible. Not just one!
We are engrossed with curses in Deuteronomy 5:9 but fail to see the thousand of years of blessing for those who love God.
You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and fourth generation of those who reject me,
10 but showing steadfast love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Moreso😢,they chose not to see or read Ezekiel 18 that no one bears the sin of another.
Ezekiel 18:19-23 King James Version (KJV)
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Even in the old Testament, generational curse was refuted by God.
The fact that i look like and resemble my biological father and both my sons look like me, that on its own enough to establish some patterns. Inherited patterns do exist, and what are they if they can't be traced generational? I believe God is able to ...

I don't know why people are refusing to see the angle Mensa Otabil is coming from😂
Thanks you man of God for setting the records straight. there are two sides of the coin, Mensa Otabil is speaking to one side of the fact but the Bible teaches about generational curses and has provided clear directions as to how to come out of it.
Completely correct 👍

He never specifically said that there is no such thing as generational curses. Even if he did, he would be lying. I choose to believe in the word of God than believe in the word of man. Let God be true and every man a liar..

There is no generational curses to Christians who believe in the sanctity of Christ that he was and is to come

I asked CHATGPT - Is there any thing like BREAKING GENERATIONAL CURSES?
and I was shocked to NOTE that ordinary Ai knows more than most us, this is what it said
"The concept of "breaking generational curses" is often discussed within certain Christian circles, though it is not a specific phrase found in the Bible. The idea is that negative patterns, sins, or consequences can be passed down from one generation to the next, and through faith and prayer, individuals can break these cycles.
Several biblical passages are often cited in discussions about generational curses:
Exodus 20:5-6 (NIV): "You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments."
Deuteronomy 5:9-10 (NIV): "You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments."
Ezekiel 18:20 (NIV): "The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them."
The Ezekiel passage emphasizes individual responsibility for sin, indicating that each person is accountable for their own actions rather than bearing the guilt of their ancestors.
In the New Testament, the focus is often on the redemptive power of Christ to set individuals free from sin and its consequences:
Galatians 3:13 (NIV): "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.'"
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV): "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
Colossians 2:14-15 (NIV): "Having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross."
These New Testament passages emphasize that through Christ, believers can experience freedom from past burdens, including any generational influences, through the redemptive work of Jesus.
While the Bible addresses the impact of ancestral sin and individual responsibility, the specific phrase "breaking generational curses" is more of a theological interpretation and practice derived from these scriptural principles.
It is choice and not curses just set yourself apart from your parents evil pattern

why then did Jesus Christ come? these curses are only broken by and through Jesus Christ
As long as christ remains the head of principalities and power were covered by the blood of the lamb but we must live a holy life lest the rod of the wicked rest on the righteous!

[32]not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.

I appreciate Mensah Otabil a lot but this message I disagree with it. There’s a generational curse. Just look the pattern of life from Abraham to Isaac and Jacob.
Generational curses, begin with the first sin in the garden of eden and continues with sinful behavior.
Those who obey God escape from these curses.
REALLY?????????
He didn't say generational curse does not exist. Huh!
Solomon, in this video its difficult to know what your stand is concerning GENERATIONAL CURSES, however no child of God has any generational curse to break, whether in your bible study /prayer meetings or in any church. Simply because Christ has REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE, Infact He freed us from anything that WAS CONTRARY TO US - Colossians 2:14-15 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15, And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
🤔🤔🤔
But generational blessings do?? 😂 haha

When a father talks as if he has no wisdom, it is ridiculous. God said He will visit the iniquities of the fathers on children to the 3rd and 4th generations. When God shields you from somethings don't think that those suffering from those things are fools. Let us sit down and study dividing the word of God correctly.
1samuel 2 27_36.this is called generational courses.
This Pastor is obviously bashing someone and is using the Pulpit to do so.

Generational curses do exist see lamentation 5:7.You may not doing what your parent did but because of curse one experiences the same patern of tragedy unless one fast n pray more and cry to God for deliverance or seek deliverance from a true man of God
he should read genesis well
No no on this one he can not say it's choice. Evil patterns are real. These patterns which are bondages or spiritual prisons are real. What is salvation? When answering this question please bear in mind that it's not a choice but we are saved by God's grace through faith.

You are the sum of decisions in life
Generational cursed is real
I don't know what otabil is talking about? He should no better
It is pastors like this who leave people suffering.
Simple way to look at it:
In scripture only 2 things are transgenerational, a blessing or a curse.Christians like this will say there is nothing like generational curse, yet easily agree there is diabetes, cancer etc in their family line.
Where did that sickenss come from?It is definitely not a blessing in the family line.
I know so many people who dealt with such issues just from a prayer. They should stop the lazy approach by lying to christians.
We read that a time is coming when abson will not bear the sins of the fathers, this is the new testament

Dr otabil does not know it.
the sin of adam and eve is a generational curse, otabil is sleeping.
I do not agree with him period, not all patterns are choice based, the old man is becoming blind, he was good in his time but now he is clouded
Eternal punishment is because someone has sinned himself

@@yawboahen 18 The word of the Lord came unto me again, saying,
2 What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?
3 As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.
4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
*Verse 3, tells us NOT to use this proverb any longer*
What salvation did was empowering us to demantle the works of darkness.. we have the power to crumble it
.if you don't excercise the authority Jesus has given us. You become a victim.
