Visited in Spring 2019. Lovely city. Good range of bars, restaurants and cafes. The "Propaganda"Soviet themed pub next to the university is really cool. Went up the funicular to the top of the mountain and stood where the Brasov sign is. Castle Straja also worth visiting.
If i'm not mistaken, the name of Brasov is on Mount Timpa. You can hike up there or you can take a cable car or something like that. The view is great.And i hope you enjoy Romania.

hi Gabe, if you go west you should see Sibiu and Sighisoara two beautiful and small cities, if you go North i reccomend Bucovina area which is stunning in spring/summer !
Brasov is the most beautiful town in Romania but it looks much better in summer .There are so many places worth visiting,but I guees you visited them )Bran Castle,Peles Castle,Rasnov Citadel ,Poiana Brasov (a gorgeous mountain resort),and all these are only 15 minutes away from Brasov
