They are being initiated into their sorority Alpha kappa alpha sorority inc one of the divine 9 historically black fraternities and sororities Black fraternities Alpha phi alpha fraternity inc, kappa alpha psi fraternity inc, Omega psi phi fraternity inc, Phi beta sigma fraternity inc and Iota phi theta fraternity inc. Black sororities Alpha kappa alpha sorority inc, delta sigma theta sorority inc zeta phi beta sorority inc and sigma gamma rho sorority inc
This is their “coming out” or “presentation” ceremony usually performed on their campus to announce them as the newest members. It’s an amazing accomplishment. Takes A LOT of work. And is widely celebrated on their campuses, by friends, and family. 2020 brought all of us new challenges to be innovative and creative. I am soo pleased and proud of MY undergraduate initiation chapter!!! DELTA LAMBDA (Delaware State University)!!!!
