1 Zusammenfassung -- Abstract
1.1 Zusammenfassung
Die Arbeit präsentiert die Abteilung Chlorophyta, die Grünalgen im engeren Sinne und beruht auf einer Vielzahl zusammengeführter Quellen und Proben diverser Herkunft. Ein breites Spektrum an Wissen und die Strukturen der Grünalgen sollen im Film präsentiert werden. Anfangs wird auf die allgemeine ökologische Bedeutung der Algen als Sauerstoff-, Primärproduzenten und Katalysatoren des Lebens hingewiesen. Dem Zuschauer soll der evolutionäre Erfolg der Chlorophyten durch die Mannigfaltigkeit der besiedelten Lebensräume, ökophysiologische und anatomische Aspekte aufgelöst werden. Für einen besseren Bezug wird vergleichend mit Landpflanzen gearbeitet. Der Lebenszyklus und die verschiedenen Reproduktionsarten werden in Animationen und Zeitraffer verdeutlicht. Morphologisch haben Grünalgen einiges zu bieten. Bewegliche und unbewegliche Einzeller, Filamente, Siphone und Coenobien bilden nur einen Teil der Formenvielfalt und werden für den Zuseher im Detail aufgelöst. Als Schwesterngruppe der Landpflanzen bieten sich Grünalgen mit makroskopischen Zellverbänden als gute Beispiele für den Vergleich zwischen Kormus und Thallus an. In weiterer Folge werden auch die stammesgeschichtliche Struktur und die Diversität der Chlorophyten besprochen. Die Klassen Ulvophyceae, Trebouxiophyceae und Chlorophyceae werden mit ausgewählten Vertretern präsentiert und beschrieben. Einen wichtigen Gegenstand der Phykologie bildet die Biotechnologie. Das letzte Kapitel erläutert die Thematik und zeigt Isolation, Kultivierung und ökonomisch relevante Produkte der Grünalgen.
Die Arbeit hat das Ziel die wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse über die Organisation und Systematik der Abteilung Chlorophyta, in einen wissenschaftlichen Lehrfilm bzw. Dokumentarfilm zusammenzufassen. Professionelle und kontemporäre Vermittlung und Produktion standen hierbei im Vordergrund. Im Film wurde stets darauf geachtet eine Vielzahl an Begriffen und Vorgängen klar und verständlich zu erklären. Unbeantwortete Fragen oder Informationslücken sollen durch das wissenschaftliche Beiblatt aufgelöst werden.
1.2 Abstract
This work presents the phylum Chlorophyta, the green algae sensu stricto, and is based on a combination of diverse sources and samples of various origins. A broad range of knowledge and the structure of green algae should be presented within the film. Initially, the movie indicates the general ecological importance of algae as oxygen and primary producers and as catalysts of life. The success of the Chlorophyta is illustrated by their various habitats as well as by eco-physiological and anatomical aspects. For a better understanding, processes and structures are explained in comparison to land plants. Life cycle and types of reproduction are clarified within animations and time-lapses. The morphology of green algae is versatile and provides a lot of different forms. Motile and immobile unicellulars, filamentous, coenocytic, coenobial or parenchymatic (tissue like) organisms are only a part of the various shapes. As green algae constitute the sister group to the land plants, the thalli of green algae are highly suitable to compare corm and tissue. Hereafter the phylogenetic structure and diversity of the phylum Chlorophyta is discussed. The classes Ulvophyceae, Trebouxiophyceae and Chlorophyceae, are presented and described by a selection of organisms. Biotechnology is a hot topic in phycology. The last chapter elucidates this theme and shows isolation, cultivation and economically relevant products of green algae.
The aim of this work is to summarize and mediate the scientific knowledge and organisation of the phylum Chlorophyta within scientific documentary film. The main focus was laid on a professional and contemporary mediation and production. The film esteems clear explanations of various botanical terms and processes. The scientific supplementary sheet resolves unanswered questions and information gaps.
